Not having the basic attack was weird, but the starter movesets and learnsets are way better.

That's gonna take some getting used to but I think I'll manage.

Yeah, they replaced it with 4 moves of different types at the start, and then struggle when you run out of PP. Moves can also level up, IIRC, so you can probably get more PP from doing that I think. It took me forever to run out of PP though, at least in the early dungeons.

God, the soundtrack is just as amazing as back then.

This game is so good and I have no idea why Yas Forums didn't discuss it when it came out. It even has every legendary from gens 1-3 incorporated and recruitable in meaningful ways. Also purity forest is very fun.

It’s a dungeon crawling jrpg. It’s got a very niche fanbase with not a lot of crossover with the pokemon community.
