>Egypt
>Sparta
>Vikings
Who the hell chooses these settings 13 year old redditors
why did they skip rome? They still haven't done India or China which would be way more interesting
Egypt
Rome was already in the Ezio trilogy wasn't it?
People are more familiar with these three eras thanks to pop culture, which means they're more marketable especially if they include historical inaccuracies that reflect the modern era of movies and comic books moreso than factual accounts of the time periods. Please don't complain and quietly consoom these great diverse and fantastical settings as they rewrite history to fit a modern agenda.
Yeah Brotherhood was in medieval rome. Origins made it seem like it was setting up for an Ancient Rome setting with the assassination of Julius Caesar and after greece it would've felt natural.
I don't really care that they skipped it but come on, Vikings?
People are way more familiar with the fucking Romans, you idiot.
Isn't this pretty much the last AC for a while?
Not gonna lie, Cassandra shilling threads was unbearable, mark my words same shit waits for you with new viking roastie.
Rome sucks cock.
Are you stupid? Ezio trilogy was the rome one
>India
>China
Yawn.
I don't care if they do rome or not, but when it comes down to it rome is a good setting for AC and vikings will never be
Renaissance Rome, not ancient Rome
>Another game where you around the same looking buildings after jumping on dudes with sandals
yeah okay
Seriously, this series is shit and needs to die. Undefendable, terrible combat and controls. Grocery list of dribble content. They can change the setting however they want, gameplay is always ass.
Good thing this isn't AC anymore
you should play god of war if your not interested in playing as an assassin
Rather They just make a new ip and have a character that fits the assassin motif. I know orgins was a soft reboot but vikings and spartans dont really fit.
They have done China and India in Chronicles ;)
Come back when they make a game about the absolute unit.
>age of mythology civs
Lets hope next is not atlantean
rather have china or japan
I will only purchase it if it has no brown people.
When does it come out?
The only reason Origins and Odyssey is set in the Assassin's Creed universe is so fast travel and all the little game conveniences make some dumb kind of sense being that you're a simulation in the Animus. Also, they sell well because it's an established name. Thank god they abandoned the AC formula because that series was dogshit until they changed it to an open-world RPG clone. It's not great now but at least I can have some fun.
>have to play as a manlet
you mean the romans that became just Greeks 2.0? lol
Dude Ancient Greek was way more Popular than roman times.
they better do colonial india/ottoman empire next
>assassins
>ancient greece
>american revolution
>vikings
>fucking pirates
Who comes up with this stuff?
>Norman-style castle in Anglo Saxon England
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
But seriously, I am unironically triggered by this. It should be common knowledge that castles were a Norman import and the Anglo-Saxon equivalent was a burgh, which were actually built for the specific purpose of defending against Vikings
hey pirates was fun as fuck and given all the dumb mystic shit it made sense since pirates always had legends and myths surrounding them
