They're always video games (rather, video game logic, settings, action, etc) overlappiong with real life. Never had one that was purely playing a video game, I don't think. A long time ago, back when DMC4 came out, I dreamed I was in a shopping mall with Nero's sword trying to figure out how it revs up without fuel and a giant monster (think of the first boss and it's damn close) started ravaging the mall. That's when my Dante powers came in and I had an epic mall fight with this beast.
Also back when I was playing GTA SA I had a crazy dream where I guess I was a gangster protecting my gang's turf and I got page on my pager that a rival gang was trying to take some territory and I got so angry that I was literally seeing red in the dream. I could hear the blood rushing through my ears and everything had a red filter over it. I was fighting this rival gang and had such an insane level of focus on my guns that I could line up shots perfectly, seeing down the rail with an eagle-like sharpness to take out these dudes before they killed me. Someone on my team wound up dying and I was devastated. I woke up after holding them and mourning.
