But we all know the game will probably sell like 20 million copies on launch, it will be hugely financially successful, and EVEN if the general playerbase, normies included, hate the game, every single game journalist will give it >9 scores and claim how its the boldest storytelling move in the industry and how every game should try to be like it. Even if it's because Sony bribed the journalists or because the fuckers just want to be unique for "discovering this hidden gem" like it has happened before with games like Gone Homo.
Neil Druckmann will still be hailed as one of the best writers ever, the game will get a greenlit sequel, things will go as usual.
Gaming is dead, this huge decay started with Mass Effect 3 after their ending blunder, and it was worsened with the release of MGSV. Developers are making bad games and the world just doesn't care. They gave Death Stranding a 9 everywhere FFS.
