>*Kills hundreds of thousands of people*
*Kills hundreds of thousands of people*
>It's nothing personal, FAGGOT!
I get that they wanted to make the game more edgy, but WOW Nomura!
how so?
Why does he look like a Kpop idol?
dropping the plate
You don't blame the soldier, you blame whoever gave the order.
you blame both
with no survivors
but he didn't do that
there were some survivors
that was the next step in his master plan
based
We'd better get Cissnei in this fucking remake. I don't even care if it's in the Zack timeline.
>Reno: Man the plate drop fucking sucked, we killed so many people
>Tseng: It's fine, if we didn't do it someone else would've, and so we've spared them their guilty conscience
>Reno: Are you fucking shitting me?
>Tseng: Then just think if it as us giving mako back to the planet, since we've taken so much from it for the city
>Reno: Holy fuck, Tseng
that doesn't make it better
I feel bad for Tseng in that scene. He knows what they did wasn't kosher and he accepted the burden for it but when he saw that Reno hadn't, he tried to get him to take some time off to mentally deal and then when that didn't work, he tried to at least give Reno multiple excuses to work with to help him cope.
The fact the excuses were terrible unironically make that scene better. It really sends home that what the Turks did in the name of Shinra is impossible to justify and will stick with them forever.
But nobody died in the remake.
Wrong.
Not everyone got out from the slums
No one was evacuated on the plate
How do you know?
if Shinra had a leak that they were dropping the plate they would have been mega-fucked
if they had started evacuating the plate above beforehand it would've been hella suspicious
They're clearly setting up a face turn for the Turks down the road.
that scene was in the original senpai
Reeve clearly says there’s 50,000 people in the slums. You see a few dozen escape the Seventh Heaven neighborhood. Then there’s everyone in the topside residential section. Pay more attention next time retard
It may well have been, it's been ages since I've played the original, it just seems like post-Compilation, they've been trying way harder to make the Turks seem sympathetic.
where? i dont remember
similar if not identical place as in the remake - some time when you're going through Shinra HQ
In the original they were goofy comic relief characters.
Wait it was? When?
Reno's on the couch and Tseng is telling him to take time off in low poly
it's some time in Shinra HQ before you get to Hojo
He's cute as fuck so it's ok.
He really reminds me of the villain from Godzilla Final Wars.
you dont see the turks in the shinra HQ. Yu are bullshitting me.
I expected an answer like in junon they say stuff like that since i dont remembe rthe dialogue when youtalk to rude or reno
This might sound crazy, but I actually have a save pretty much every hour worth of gameplay in FF7. I just did the part where you sneak above the meeting I'll look for it and report back if I find it.
He did in the OG. It was Rude in Remake.
They're partners. If it wasn't one pushing the button either time it would be the other.
play it again
I have less than zero interest in lying to random people over the internet over a scene from a very aged video game
yeah go for it
>implying there is anyone topside
user, the only reason SE didnt fully model the top plate is because no one lives there except in on little spot you visit
Per the Ultimania
What would possibly make you think otherwise?
>50,000 in the slums
>probably at least the same amount topside
>a few dozen people near the border to Sector 6 within earshot of Wedge and Aerith warning them get out
Meaning everyone else in the Sector 7 slum and everyone on the top plate (including Jessie's parents, that pissed off old lady with the broom, hell probably most of the Shinra personnel at the warehouse you hit earlier)...DEAD as fuck.
Unfortunately I didn't find anything. With speed at x3, encounters off, and not doing the stairs there's no other places I can venture to without continuing the story. The scene must be from Before Crisis or something.
it's in the original 3 disk game somewhere
I vividly remember Reno on a couch and Tseng trying to give him a vacation
I thought it was during Shinra HQ but it might be some other time in the game
I hate how this is never brought up. Even in the OG the Turks are just treated as wacky comedic not-villains, eventually they are pardoned by the fucking script itself since nobody ever brings justice to them. Fuck the Turks, scumfuck snakes.
