So quick question, is it normal for my 1080ti to hit 70 Celsius while underload? I noticed in the most recent video TDS put out that his was around 60. I know that the average temp for a graphics card under load is 60 to 70 but I've been beginning to wonder if something is wrong with my card.

No it doesn't. Nerg eats anything. It can eat kelbi, it can eat hunters or whatever if it just wants to survive. Nerg targets elders because it needs massive amounts of bioenergy to reproduce. It chases them not out of hunger, but basically horniness. Or as horny as an asexual animal can be. Actually that's the weirdest thing about Nergigante. Its bizarre plant budding style reproduction.

does ANYONE know the exact mechanics of nami drying out and getting wet?

Does the water mobility gem prevent being pushed aside from her waves?

Exclusively was a bit of a misnomer on my part. I guess it's more apt to say it goes for things with more bioenergy. Yeah it can eat Kelbi but at it's size it'd be utterly useless as anything other than a a light snack.

I still don't understand her dry mechanic. Sometimes I hit her a lot, and she keeps her water sheild for the entire fight. Other times I'll hit her and she'll just flinch and drop her water armor right there.

Nerg's hunter notes would have you believe he's weak to thunder, but his thunder hitzone's on the spikes, which is where you get most of the damage, are almost fucking nonexistent.

I just checked mine and it's about the same, hits 70 and more or less stays there. Probably depends on the fan curve.

You don't need to hunt any monster past the story. You do what you want user, no one has a gun to your head.

I like a good challenge but fun takes the priority.

If a monster isn't fun or enjoyable to fight, I'm not going to fight it, and Namielle is sadly one of those monsters.

If you've been to the location go and talk to the provisions manager, there should be a delivery quest you can do to unlock it.

Fair enough, I enjoy challenges even if they're not completely enjoyable. Still managing to kill a monster that gave you a lot of trouble feels kinda rewarding.

None these monster's "theme" translate their gear and are either just some random theme or are designed after, just like you said "cool feature, durr".
Teo and Luna were just lucky guess cause their their theme are in their titles.

Getting through Iceborne has been a huge wake up call. Feels like these monsters give you like one fucking second to get a hit in when they're not knocked down. All I do anymore is poke once and evade
