The one playthrough where he escaped me I was surprised to find him there and even more surprised that you could try to break him out, I had no stealth to smuggle weapons in and no unarmed skill.

This game fails in so many ways it’s astounding. I still can’t understand how it won Game of the Year.
Just for an example, let’s use the “synth paranoia” in Diamond City.
>A guy turns on his brother and attempts to kill him for being a synth. This is quite dark and attempts to establish a tone of fear.
>He’s shot by security and the brother he accused of being an infiltrator is terrified at how quickly it happened

>He disappears from the game, which ruins any chance of showing how fear can leave deep scars in a community that can’t heal or give any more insight into what happened
>Guards are saying things like “don’t call your mom a synth, yikes!” utterly ruining any sense of seriousness
>The city is peaceful and there aren’t any more incidents like this
End of the game
>Piper was right all along, the mayor was a synth and she was justified! He’s deposed, the city is saved and everyone lives happily ever after. It’s almost like no one died because of it.

Just play Call of Duty or something easier. Not that playing through an RPG and not killing everyone is considered to be smart or anything, it's just something that even the most average person should be able to do to.

You can't prove there is a vengeance plot. There is nothing forcing you to follow the main quest, which most players didn't even bother playing through.

You can't beat a game that has free-play after the main quest, retard. The vast majority of players realized that there is no point in playing through the awful, bethesda-made main quest if they can just fuck around in-game like the collection of retards that is known was the Bethesda audience. Bethesda also realized this very early-on, which is why they put absolutely no effort whatsoever in their quests, because people will just skip over them anyway to go around looting and shooting. Bethesda's "greatest" game will be a very simplistic Borderlands clone with no story, and you just walk through the same rooms over and over again looting guns, and picking up materials to modify weapons.

It’s fun though. It’s like reading a NTSB report on a horrific plane crash and examining every event that went wrong.

It you ignore the dialogue and the characters and the leveling system in 4, it's not too awful

New Vegas is worth the rough edges for all of the good that it does though
