Don't run away to a new thread while the old one with every calling you an idiot is still up

I bet the targeting computer helps offset the barrel length of the average Redditor.

>KRISS Vector but fuckmyshitup

>cant bitch about anything else anymmore
>well i guess ill shitpost about the gun models ...
having sun is bad but now youre saying that we have to get "realistic" ?

not me

He made this thread because he either A) got called out on his autism by literally everyone in a previous thread where he desperately whinned about it, or B) is a shitposter who found it funny how last time the gun was posted, one autist screeched about it so hard the whole fucking thread had to tell him what an insufferable autistic mongoloid he is, and he wants to recreate that great success of pointless shit.
Either way: shit thread stemming from retards acting like retards in previous threads.

What's the point of having such big gun if you have so tiny barrel? Or does the designer thinks that bullets magically materialize in the far end of the stock? This was either designed by a woman or a faggot.

Stuff like that is not made by a single bad graphic artist. It needs to be approved by a chain of people. So I guess cdpr doesn't have a single person that knows how guns work because otherwise someone would raise an issue of how idiotic this design looks.

don't mind it too much, they must be rocket propelled if they're smart bullets otherwise how are they guided

In game, this gun fires small autotracking missiles. think bolt gun from warhammer but they lock on to people. i guess the "barrel" is just to contain the backblast from the rockets

>make game focused on guns and gun combat
>doesn't even know how guns work
they should stick to fantasy

>>make game focused on guns and gun combat
>>doesn't even know how guns work
you mean most fps games in the 90's?

Why have all this elaborate useless shit attached to it then? It should be half the size.

It's just an smg with a laser dot or something on top

gotta make it look future-y

first thread i see talking about this gun, I was mainly enjoying the TLOU 2 leak shitfest lately, so how does this gun works?

The proper term is RAP: rocket-assisted-projectile.
It uses very small explosive charge to accelerate the missile innitially, then the secondary ignition which is on the gun itself kicks in, helps it not only accelerate, but also change trajectory.

You mean the targeting and guiding hardware? Or the plastic sheaths. The game expands to be more comfortable to hold in two hands, presumably because the ammo itself and the guiding hardware aren't light, and everything else is there basically just so the shit could be folded up when you aren't using it and look neat when folded.
I think it's supposed to be one of the most expensive weapons commonly used in the setting, so I guess they wanted to make it look future-y and justify the price.

Because in CP computers have no wireless connections the bolt is a connector between the aiming AI and the smart bullet to programm it's trajectory.

Like these guys say:

something tells me you're a dev from CD Projekt Red

To entice people to buy it. Who wants to buy a gun in the future that looks all boring and shit?

>something tells me you're a dev from CD Projekt Red
It means you need to take your pills again.

There's not that much added shit. For the basic gun parts, you'd need enough mass to keep the thing from falling apart when it's launching rockets. But there's also a fucking computer strapped to the thing. Electronics, a power source, sensors, all of that takes up space and weight.

Every modern gun is a bunch of machined metal bits held together in a fancy polymer shell. So this is a bunch of machined metal bits and PCBs and batteries and shit held together by a fancy polymer (well metal I guess) shell.

Admitting you can't use the catalogue isn't helping you

>it's a gun but shoots ROCKETS and has COMPUTERS and SENSORS and that's why it looks retarded but in-fact isn't!!!

this gun is viable irl just look at the pixels

>There's not that much added shit. For the basic gun parts, you'd need enough mass to keep the thing from falling apart when it's launching rockets
Actually, when you look at the firing mechanism in action, there is a lot of shit going on which honestly seems very needless and could be solved much more easily.
First of all, the projetiles really aren't just microjets. They are hybrids, with the microjet being wrapped in an actual casing that holds a primary charge. You can see it ejecting the shells if you look at footage.
Also, the whole chamber/barrel/muzzle break actually moves and even revolves. It pushes forward right before it fires, then pushes backwards to absorb the recoil from the primary charge and position the whole chamber back above the magazine where it's loaded.
And the whole time it also actually rotates, presumably to shift the entry slit to align first with the ejection port, and then with the loading gate.
Which honestly really feels like it probably could be done a hell of a lot more efficiently. I mean I don't see anything that would make it NOT WORK at all, but it's clearly a lot more rule of the cool than being particularly efficient solution.

I see the autist from the previous thread found his way into this one. How about you go fiddle your toy model of Vector some more instead?

So it's a gun that thinks is a rocket launcher and tries to be one? Is that some convoluted metaphor of transsexualism?

hey, humor isn't stupid, stupid

Got a webm?

No.
Got a youtube like though.

Should be right where they pick up the weapon, you can see it all there.
I had quite a lot of fun figuring out how the FUCK is it supposed to work today, and the fact that I did manage to figure it out shows the design was absolutely not thought-less. Someone had fun figuring out how the weapon could actually work.
That said, they obviously spend a lot less time asking if it also SHOULD work that way.
But in a cyberpunk, I kinda think that is the right attitude to have, to be honest.

shut up civvie

>So it's a gun that thinks is a rocket launcher and tries to be one? Is that some convoluted metaphor of transsexualism?
I don't think any other post could ever sum up the weird mixture of autism and obsession with trannies this board suffers from now more than this one.
Even if it's a joke, it just reeks of everything that is wrong with this place now.
