Are just a option! No matter how much spin is done. Like console would end talk. its growing. Not getting smaller. More options are better, but just that. Microsoft its the smaller competitor, smaller market and their game sell low. Thats the reality right now. Services increase Zero the marketshare of Microsoft. They lost marketshare to Sony and Nintendo. They sold 20% less consoles then last year. Not 1 or 2%. We are talking of less milions and millions of customers. Disrupting? not really. This is the future of Microsoft. Its just a matter of time until its available on ALL platforms.

What the fuck am I reading?

>disruptive
I don’t know a single person with game pass

ESL shilling

I still don't understand what devs get out of the game pass.

xbox lost to playstation 2, but it changed everything with xbox live. you do't have to win to change the game

>supporting "games as service"
Do Americans really...

Yeah sadly most my retard friends eat this shit up.

Guaranteed money? Most game pass games also don’t have a drop in actual sales either.

I don't know what disrupting means lmao

Yeah a lot like it because it’s “convenient”

You don't 'own' your digital games either. They can be stripped from you at any time.

Buying games digitally is just as bad, so why not go for the more convenient option?

Steam doesn’t do that

Property is really tricky. Do I really "'own'" the games I pirate?

>more convenient option
It its?

Xbox Game Pass is the best video games related purchase I ever made

Ok xbot

Gaming Netflix will be a success and there is nothing you can do about it, Grandpa

>paying for netflix
Do zoomers really...

A lot of games aren't worth buying, certainly at the high prices they're at.
Game Pass is renting. As long as you treat it like that and buy the shit you actually want to buy, things will be fine.

DVDs and Blurays didn't stop existing because of Netflix, most people just stopped buying the shit ones.

Is the bot back?

Why don't people like Gamepass? I won one of the Taco Bell XboneX and it came with 6 months of Gamepass and I fucking love it. I don't know how expensive it is (outside of the $1 for 3 month shit), but the ability to play any game out of a fuckhuge list is really nice. I don't see myself ever buying an Xbone game, but I like the selection and the fact that exclusives like Ori come out day 1.

Games as a service is fine as long as streaming isn't mandatory.

Money, Microsoft paid Capcom around $15 million for DMC5 in Gamepass

I still don't understand how they're making any money from gamepass.

money. Devs and Microsoft have said sales are usually increased while on Game pass. Out worlds had great sales and was gamepass day one.

Is someone going to put in the work to check if the author is associated with Microsoft or a third party marketing firm or do I have to do it myself?

GTA IV and EFLC just recently were removed from my library and merged/replaced with shitty Complete Edition. Sure, original was a shit port (and so does the new version), but then again, removing and switching games is pretty anti-consumer.

That's not what that means.
