Maybe it's because I'm at 9 villagers instead of 10 but nobody has even asked to move out in weeks. It's getting me paranoid that they're going to try to leave and I'm going to miss it. It actually functioned the exact same way in New Leaf with the Welcome Amiibo update. New Horizons is not the first game that let you scan in your villagers until you got who you want.
