you drive around picking up goods and delivering them while unlocking upgrades and other vehicles/trailers to do more jobs. everywhere is flooded and muddy so its hard to drive even short distances and you have to wait until you have certain upgrades to get past obstacles like deep water, deep mud or an incline thats too steep. im not a car guy but im having fun with this.

Is there soft body collision

>hmm interesting
>open steam
>snowrunners
>0 results found

is this a console game?

its basically death stranding but with trucks.

It's an epic game.

epic exclusive

Yes.
Tyres are fucking soft bodyh unless they downgraded

no, it's free.

This sounds like Death Stranding.
>epic exclusive
Yeah ok retards, have fun lol

Looks like Spintires/Mudrunner.

>$60 for season pass
>cash shop with decals

pirate it. even if it was on steam pirate it, who the fuck would pay full price for a car game lmao

Same devs

Fined

Tell me about Russians
why do they live in alternate reality?

This is just like Death Stranding if you consider children's softball the same thing as MLB. This series is way more complex and has actual physics, you often have to fight for every foot of progress in really harsh terrain while trying not to flip or get stuck or destroy your ride or cargo. You would probably get filtered in under half an hour.

>car RPG

damn that could be a thing, just replace a human character with a car

reminder burgercrap truckfags think parking at the mall requires a lift kit and chrome wheels and 20 lightbars.

Yea, I'm avoiding it for the same reason. I think it's also on the windows store however.

it'd be nice if more car games did that instead of showering you with money and rewards after coming last in every fucking race.

Americans ruined racing genre.

*blocks your path*

no its not, i got a free copy from codex. doesnt even have drm.

LMFAO

Fucking OP is always a faggot :T

>ppl on Yas Forums avoid games they can pirate

why though

wait what no way ive already bought the fucking base game that never got finished because muh big bad publisher and then bought the same fucking game with a few more maps because muh big bad publisher.
But I'm not buying a game on fucking epic store for 60 bucks and then have to shit out more for dlc

Fuck the dev, fuck everyone related.

It's already cracked, for the people complaining about epic, price or whatever

>I think it's also on the windows store however
I think that's the Xbox version but I may be wrong.

I really want to get it but I'm a consolefag and the PS4 copy has some technical issues so I'm gonna hold off until those are fixed.
Mud Runner was crazy fun though.

It's Death Stranding with trucks

>epic chinese botnet

there is slav continent in it & massive too

try setting the difficult to to "hard" and turning off the assist you brainlet.

i always assumed spintires/mudrunner was one of those shitty physics games where you just do short challenges over and over.

Mudrunner is on steam? How different is it to Snowrunner if I want to give the gameplay a try without Epic

snowrunner is a sequel so i assume its mostly the same just with different locations and vehicles.

snowrunner is a more polished version of mudrunner. With better graphics (no popping every 1 meter away from your ride), better colors then the slav russian wasteland that is mudrunner.

better camera & driving system, better maps & objectives. Better music as well.

anything but top difficulty is usually easy and I drive without assits dumb fuck.

Most games are skinner box shit where you complete first race, get bugatty veyron and 2 billion dollars.
Closest to real racing rpg is gran turismo if you ignore reward cars.

Nah. The original is fairly straightforward in its goal (move logs from one place in the map to another), but the process of doing so (exploring the map, pathing out routes, managing your fuel supplies, and making sure to have some method of rescue if one of your trucks gets stuck in mud or water) is pretty involved. I love how involved it is, like the manual gear shifting (on PS4 at least you have to push in the right stick and physically shift it between gears, there's also a degree of 'give' between gears so you can put a truck into crawl), judging the quality of terrain, etc.
It also helps that I like the aesthetic of it. I've sank a ton of hours into it, and the fact they've made the objective part of it more complex in Snowrunner sounds great (like all the shit with making money and upgrading trucks and stuff). I really hope they fix the issues soon.
>Better music as well.
Funny, I always turned the music off and either enjoyed the truck sounds or put on some ambient, Boards of Canada or things like that.
maximum autism: whenever a truck got stuck and I had to use another vehicle to pull it out I'd put on the Thunderbirds soundtrack

Wasted all my fuel, fucked my engine by going into the water and I couldn't even save him. I think this is going to be my first "death" in the game.

>Closest to real racing rpg is gran turismo if you ignore reward cars.

Yes, that's why people play video games, if they wanted real driving they would drive for real.

>this is easily the best open world car RPG i've played this year.
You clearly haven't played My Summer Car then, because it's the best open world car RPG every year.
