lets just cut straight to hot sims and sex mod screenshots shall we

PROGRESS! dont forget the important part about rehashing the same expansions.

It's the second game worth playing? I think I still have the ultimate edition origin gave a few years ago for free

Ok.

Yeah but which one had the best sex mods? Check m8 atheists

Yeah Sims 2 is probably the best one overall.

4 does have more options now, especially for building and create-a-sim. But 2 is better gameplay wise, although you can improve 4 quite a bit with mods. 4 looks better than 2, but not by that much, in fact 2 holds up much better graphically than 3. Of course 4 (and 3) has the best lewd mods though.

And in Sims 4 we had to wait for expansions to have things like swimming pools and a terrain tool

2 was the objectively biggest improvement.

Sims 4 is one of the best porn games but it's disgusting how many basic modes are full priced expansions.

I haven't bought the expansions and and I got the Sims 4 for free through Origin.

Also any mods to improve the graphics? Like even higher resolution textures?

Sims 1 had the best art style. Search your feelings, you know it to be true.
Also what the shit is wrong with her face in 3?

These two mods make Sims 2 still look pretty nice.

I don't think graphic improvement mods work well in a game like that, which is meant to have a cartoonish aesthetic.

Some restrained mesh mods are good though, like giving them toes

While I agree with the general sentiment that Sims has been dumbing down you are exaggerating quite a bit by omission. There's a few new things brought to the franchise like multitasking, gender neutral sims, etc. and some of the things you claim Sims 3 removed, e.g. memories and chemistry, weren't removed but just weren't present at launch.

Honestly, my biggest problem is mostly with Sims 4 and it's not that the gameplay was somewhat watered down or that the are still nickle and diming with the expansions but that it's so fucking focused of providing content for middle class young adults and nobody else. Why, for example, are there multiple fucking e-celeb career options available and very few normal career options? Why is it that 6 years after release they are finally adding some elders content to the game? Even then it's not much. Why don't adults invite other adults to go to the lounge? Why is it just assumed everyone loves going clubbing so that's the only option on offer? Somewhere along the way they forgot it's a life sim game and not a self insert and live your fantasy as a sexy internet star game.

Faces in Sims 3 all look like Oblivion tier potatoes

>multitasking
That was marketed as a Sims 4 feature but it was actually a Sims 2 feature that was removed in Sims 3. In Sims 2 you can already make them do stuff while they're doing something else, like throw food while they're having lunch. It was just expanded somewhat and given much more emphasis in Sims 4.

>gender neutral sims
I'd put that under body customisation

>memories and chemistry, weren't removed but just weren't present at launch.
Memories in Sims 3 work through snapshots I believe, meaning you have to create them yourself instead of them appearing automatically. Which of course means that sims you haven't played won't have any memories at all. As for chemistry I don't remember that in 3 but maybe I just never got that far in expansions, and as far as I know it doesn't exist in 4.

>very few normal career options
That's one of the things that should have been in the base game but that they ended up adding through expansions. I think all the basic Sims 1 and 2 careers exist in 4 now, finally.

>but it was actually a Sims 2 feature that was removed in Sims 3
No. There's certain specific interactions that can be combined with certain other specific interactions in both Sims 2 and Sim 3 but neither are even close to the versatility of the Sims 4 implementation.
>Memories in Sims 3 work through snapshots I believe, meaning you have to create them yourself instead of them appearing automatically.
By default the game makes them automatically. It actually goes a little overboard with automatically creating them so most people set them to manual to avoid bloat. In Sims 4 you have to do them manually and scrapbook is worse than in Sims 3.
>Which of course means that sims you haven't played won't have any memories at all.
Inactives do get memories too. And gossip is still sort of a thing in Sims 3 but it doesn't mean as much as it did in Sims 2.
>As for chemistry I don't remember that in 3 but maybe I just never got that far in expansions, and as far as I know it doesn't exist in 4.
It's called attraction in Sims 3. It was a base game patch, not an expansion feature. It's not in Sims 4. The devs have flat out said there's almost no SP in Sims 4 because they decided to leave almost all of it up to the players. You aren't supposed to play just one household in Sims 4. You are supposed to play rotationally. They were trying to make it like Sims 2 again. Apparently a lot of people are installing WW now just for the attraction feature it offers which is way better than anything Maxis ever made.

the sims 4 is only good for one thing

...and for actual sims gameplay just play 1 and 2

Just what the FUCK did they do with sims 3's faces?

Is there a mod that add story mode content from console version to pc?

You mean the CAS thing? That's been in Sims 4 PC for ages. You don't need a mod for that.

for sims 1 actually, I want to play sims 1 (console) but it just refuses to run on emulator and with hacked hdd ps2

All this and you could just go meet real women lmao

thicc

Honestly I find 2 pretty shitty. Didn't play 3 enough but 4 is really good surprisingly.

How many of you ITT are women

or women in progress

Given the lack of images of CP being posted I'd guess there are 0 trannies in this thread right now.

yes because the console and PC versions of the sims are the same game entirely and are totally on the same engine by the same developer so it would be no issue at all to just copy and paste between them
