RTX 2070 Super chad reporting in, why is this card so based bros?
where my GT 545 Chads at, still rocking flash games and visual novels at high settings
When the fuck will the gpu prices drop? I want to upgrade from my gtx 1060 6gb
grab a 16666960 RTX Type R for sub $100
This is a poorfag thread though, true chads have a 2080ti
>He only has one
GPU priced do not drop(or rarely). Instead new gen always offers more power for the same money as older gen.
maybe nowadays. you used to get the "old gen" for cheap when new gen was out for a while. it's like do i pay 200 for this year old model or buy the new one for 400 that's 5% better
So i shouldn't wait? I got a 1440p 144hz monitor a while back and want to be able to enjoy it as much as possible. Is the 2070 super worth it? Honestly i could probably buy it if it went down to 500 dollars or so
I went for the 2060 super because I dont care for 1440p or 4k so I got a nice freesync 144hz 1080p monitor and im having hundreds of fps on max settings in all games. Pretty good.
If you can endure having sub 100fps sure a 2070 super is enough.
40 FPS seemed pretty amazing to me since i was used to console frames before i got my own computer. there are really people who are used to 100+ frames? man the fucking times we live in.
>He doesn't own at least 4 Titan RTX
Price difference in never that extreme. For example used 1080Ti will cost $450-500, while brand new 2070 Super(equal card) is $500.
Same applies to other cards. The only used GPU that's kinda worthwhile right now is maybe Gtx1070 selling for ~$200 (same as new 1660). But still you can get nearly identical performance from 1660 Super for just $230-240
Normally I'd say wait, 3xxx were supposed to release this year, but with current situation, who knows.
2070S is on par with 1080Ti and overall great card. It does sell for $500 right now.
>24 GB of Vram
are there any games that can even fully utilize that
first reply meant for
Valorant's rootkits
>not waiting for 3080Ti.
I cant play under 100 personally. And its not just a psychological thing like I see my fps counter below 100 and I freak out. Well yes I do freak out but I check my fps counter in the first place because I can feel like Im dipping below 100. 1080p is more than enough for me for the budget that I have. I will always prioritize more frames. Its just that comfortable for the eyes.
What are the benchmarks for the 1080ti? I heard they're comparable to the 2070s so if you can get one second-hand it might be an alternative
2070S is better.
>0% difference in Monster Hunter: worlds
wat
>Poorfags need not post in this thread.
if you weren't a poorfag you would buy 2080ti, because why limit yourself if money is truly not an issue
fag
Is 1440p really the norm right now? I wanna play many games both old and new but I'm afraid that a 1440p monitor will be too big for them.
>Max Payne 1/2
>Red Alert 2/YR
>Shadow of the Tomb Raider
>Sekiro
>Nier:Automata
>GTA V
>FFXV
Just a few to mention.
Which monitor? I need a new one.
2070 reporting in senpai
>he paid over $500 for a graphics card
What do you mean too big? It's a resolution, not a physical size.
>he fell for the novideo meme
old games don’t do higher resolutions well since no developers back then future proof that kind of shit, so anything can happen
>not waiting for 4080Ti
Just google wsgf and make it future proof. Anything worth playing is on there unlike the console fags which can’t play last gen games on the current gen.
I just ordered a g703gx with a 2080 :)
can finally get rid of this 970 machine and plat games maxed out again.
OP here, 2080 TI is a consoomer meme card.
