My favorite action game of that gen. Everyone goes gaga over DMC, GOW or Ninja Gaiden, but I prefer the fast paced combat of Shinobi over doing combos on meat bags. Platforming was fun too.

I played it. It was good. The fucking annoying "platforming" in between buildings was some of the most frustrating bullshit I've ever encountered in video games.
But yeah game had some great style and it felt pretty nice. Never played nightshade though.

Also played Shinobi on the magazine demo disc. Those discs were so fun sometimes I would just sit there playing my favorite ones all night. Half the time the demo was more fun than the full game lol
