Noita

Bought this after I saw it in another thread about magic systems in games. Enjoyed my first few runs, although I havent made any cool spell combos yet.

How is Yas Forums enjoying this game? Did I fuck up by buying into early access?

Also, any tips or info I should know early?

This is one of those few EA games which are fun all-around despite being officially unfinished.

So, like Spore?

>spore
>fun
maybe up to creature phase

FOTM

If you want to bypass the dying to stupid shit all the time, read up on good spell combinations.
Even then, you'll still die to accidentally firing too close to yourself or unforseen circumstances.

It's pretty fun

Death comes easily in this game so take your time in assessing the situation, approach slowly like in old roguelike games, value your health over wealth.
Keep your eyes open how materials and spells react eith eachother, like kicking the oil lanterns against wood to burn open a path instad of wasting a bomb.
Bind kick to spacebar, your cursors position affects where kicked stuff will fly.
Edit Wands Everywhere (ewe) is the best perk but there are multiple ways to circumvent temples from collapsing so you can return to them for wandbuilding.
Dont take anything at eye value, ALWAYS experiment with new stuff. This WILL also end killing you multiple times but Knowledge is the only thing in this game you keep between runs.
Fuck Hiisi.
Bind the water bottle something quick like q, get yourself wet before going through fire and use the water to dilute toxic sludge to water.
