Huge amounts of SOUL and one of the best Pokemon games out there.

Soul, unlike anything gen 6 and onwards

The best fucking game on the DS. One of the best games of all time

A great soundtrack

The best pokemon game in the entire franchise

Best official pokemon game not that it's a high bar to begin with

How cheap? Current lowest is $50

A genuinely amazing game and feels that you are in no way prepared for.

A genuinely emotional moment immediately undercut by being reconnected 10 minutes later

OP here, $25 used, good state

You start to wonder why it, like the rest of PMD, got low scores from retarded critics calling it repetitive while also praising the core series Pokémon games, especially the latest ones.

Paid vs cant give a shit

Journalist and critics have a hateboner for spin-offs in general

It was super predictable as soon as you understand what a certain pokemon is capable of. They pull the same shit in Super Mystery Dungeon which I felt had a much worse story even if the gameplay is better

Yikes, I'm a pretty casual pokemon player, I skipped most of the games after the third gen. I enjoyed sun and moon even with how much the story took the lead over just letting you play. Sword and Shield was just shit, I think I got passed the first gym. Sun and Moon had quite a few new pokemon whose designs I liked but Sword and Shield had nothing but complete trash

One of my favorite games, hope you like it user.

A really good game. Enjoy the story, characters, and music.

A better game than the main series that's for sure. PMD1 and PMD2 are easily some of the best games in the entire franchise along with GoD, BR and Conquest.

the best pokemon game ever made

is the remake of the others for the switch any good?

serious question

an amazing game with an amazing side story where you play as three evil pokethots

Feels

The best Pokemon game and one of the best dungeon crawlers.

it's a fantastic remake
flaws:
>overuse of the fucking triangle
>friend areas were replaced with menus.
they still have great remixes playing during these menus, but not being able to dick around with the pokemon in the friend areas is a goddamn shame.
youtube.com/watch?v=5mV0IM-EmxE
>only pokemon from gens 1-3 + their cross-gen evos like sylveon or magnezone

other than that it's a pretty nice remake. it streamlines a lot of shit and the game is still pretty tough.

that being said i would say only get it if you really want to play it. $60 for a fucking gba game is fucking retarded.

Only played the original Darkness, this makes me rather upset. Only ever heard about the Igglybuff and Grovyle stories from Sky, never this.

after explorers of the sky what mystery dungeon shoud i get?

there is a story for bidoof and one for sunflora as well

your choices are
>Red or Blue Rescue Team
or
>Their remake DX (see: )
or
>Super Mystery Dungeon
which has a very slow start but gets way better on.

Rescue team, original and remake are both good. Original is slightly more basic than Explorers.
Super is also good.
Gates and the Wiiware games are probably only for fans.

i dont have switch yet so im getting GBA/DS/3DS ones first

Super has good gameplay, but the story depends. Rescue Team DX is the GBA/DS game with QoL.

yeah then super or the original rescue team.

I don't see why the original being a GBA/DS game matters at all. You get a lot more time out mystery dungeon than most so call triple A cinematic games released these days. 60$ for like 30 hours for just the base story alone is already a huge value.

A solid contender for what could become your favorite game of all time.
