ITT: Little known games that deserve a sequel

ITT: Little known games that deserve a sequel.
WotM is great, but has some issues, mainly it's awkward camera and the fact that most of the monsters don't play very differently beyond their specials and the fact that two of them can fly. A sequel or spiritual successor that ironed out it's kinks and took advantage of modern tech to overhaul the destruction system would be fucking amazing.

I was mad because I wanted to play this game on my Xbox or Gamecube and the PS2 was the only console of that gen I didn't own

holy shit OP this was one of the first two games I ever had for my PS2 as a kid.
funny enough I think the other one needs a sequel even more: Yugioh Duelists of the Roses. Something about the combination of deck building and having to work around the terrain bonuses just makes for a really cool game. I literally can't think of another game like it. Closest is I guess disgaea with the geo panels but that's just one aspect.

Buy this shit on PS4
it's so good holy hell

I remember having a demo of this game. I always wanted to play the full version but never did.
pretty sure the only playable characters were the eyeball dude and the ape.

Oh shit this game was great.
I remember befriending a kid 3 years younger than me in my neighborhood just to play this game.

one of the best co-op games I've ever played

Sequel never, but man it'd be great. We don't get enough kaiju games in general, less so of fighting games with kaiju. Same with the Pipeworks Godzilla games, some of my favorites both for the monsters and just fun in general.

Well you can get it now on PS4 or emulate it if you still care to play it. I remember playing the shit out of the demo that only gave you two monsters and one arena to fight in. My mum got so sick of seeing me play the two same monsters on the same map that she bought me the full game on my birthday. Probably the first game I properly 100%ed
>pretty sure the only playable characters were the eyeball dude and the ape
Congar and Kineticlops, yep. This game had some cool monsters (and robots, and an alien).

I know when I was a kid I obsessively played as the preying mantis, not sure why honestly
If I ever bother replaying it now I'll probably main the jap mech, maybe the godzilla knockoff. eyeball's cool but my brother always mained him so I wouldn't feel right taking his character, you know? especially if he ever came over to play.

Fuck, I remember my friends and I goofing around with a movement tech we discovered in that game where you would dash attack towards a slope and it would launch you into the air.
Hours spent playing that game. I miss it, wish I didn't give it away when I was younger. Name your mains, fellas, mine was this chad.

>dash attack towards a slope and it would launch you into the air
That usually happens to me at the most inopportune times, like when I'm trying to chase down a monster who's in "avoid confrontation at all costs and find health" mode.

Ultra V was the best at least until you unlocked the dragon

Please, please Capcom.

I know this got a sequel, but it needs a better one.

Raptros could fly around for so damn long shit was ridiculous.

Praytor for the win.
That dot parasite was fun to playwith. Also flying around was pretty cool after you got the hang of it.

Now I’m not sure if it’s unknown but I’ve never really heard anyone talk about it. I played the hell out of it when I was a kid. I just wish it had gotten a sequel. I remember hearing that there was cut content or plans for a sequel that never came through.

Forgot some:

>Bagan
>Ramarak
>Behemoth
>Scylla
>Methusela
>Legendary Mechagodzilla

I remember being able to take the disc out and keep playing the same level repeatedly if you wanted to. God I love that game

If you beat Twisted metal black with sweet tooth, you get to play as the Sweet Tooth Bot for Agamo.

This one was quite fun and Jesper Kyd is a genius, change my mind, the soundtrack is awesome, I hoped to have a sequel, but it was cancelled.

I like EDF but god I wish Sandlot would go back to RAD at least once.

I want to see a spiritual successor to this game. It would have kaiju inspired monster designs with some being more simple like George. The buildings would be destructible and the game would have lots of wrestling moves. So something like King of the Monsters but in our current year.

I made that alien character work, I thought he was shit at first.

i miss it

That one level where you could cause a tsunami. Simply epic.
