I'm mucking around for fun in the RPG maker stuff even though Godot and Unity are my go to engines. There's just something fun and magically about RM

I have a lot of small projects that I never finish.

It's incredible how fucking trash /agdg/ is, it's next level autism

im too dumb to code, even with visual scripting i wish there was a event only engine or something, turn based is too hard

Of course I am, you can check it out here fighting-with-puzzles-online.herokuapp.com/ I'm hoping to have multiplayer online in the next week or two

i just finished "cube game where you dodge other cubes #56321"

1. it's a /vg/ general what did you expect?
2. there is a goddamn retard that has been shitting up the thread for 5 years. 5 fucking years. let that sink in
3. the games coming out of agdg are trash like risk of rain or cookie clicker
4. those stupid idiots in the thread can't even get something done in fucking unity, just have a look at the history of their demo's day. it's complete garbage

Already better than Bokube

Working on a public demo. can't wait to have it out and see what everyone thinks. Alpha testing has been really positive so far

cookie clicker wasn't even a /agdg/ game. The guy showed up asking for feedback and /agdg/ told him to shill on Yas Forums, no one expected him to not get banned on sight and even less to succeed

>inspiration index
We're approaching levels of ideaguy that were previously thought impossible

This is your self motivation posting... why don't you just go back to playing video games or watching anime for a bit, user? It's just a tiny break...

Video games suck and anime was never good

>Can't be fucked learning programming, just drafting up the full concept of the game, mechanics and mathematics behind them and all

I'm actually interested in what you're trying to make, you seem to like a gritty anime aesthetic

who's cumming

Stop procrastinating and actually open the engine/IDE and get started for once

Holy soul

I haven't done spec testing yet so I just put whatever

Also asking this here, anybody know where I can find some literature about creating 3D platformer controllers? I can't find any reading on techniques other than vague suggestions.

I made the assets before the game, ami i stupid?

Nah

Assets often take longer than the game itself, so not necessarily a bad idea. If you want to make an MMO and you don't know the first thing about programming then you might be stupid though.

Thats quite a specific example user

Fuck you

I have no programming knowledge but would love to put my music in a game. I've also considered picking up RPG maker to make something akin to DQIII meets D&D, to get the simplified gameplay of DQIII with the roleplaying opportunities of a CRPG. Currently though, I'm just working on some Doom levels. I made some music for the level I just finished, one track for the level itself, and one for the arena at the end of it:

Here's some of my other tunes:

If any anons are looking for a musician for their project, I've got plenty of free time and would love to be apart of a game!
