Would Bandai Namco ever make a new 2D Tales of game?

One can only hope the combat is more like ToGf or ToX2 and not like the two latest releases. Even though those releases were based off of ToG, they some how screwed it up.

Zestiria's combat I can understand, but Berseria's comabt system is great.
That said, it seems they're cooking something new for ToA.

Was them saying that they want to start appealing more to western audiences not a fairly definitive statement otherwise?

I fucking hate the outfits in most JRPGs. There's no difference between them and outright porn games.

I believe that they wanted to make Arise to be the best 3D tales of game before making a port of a 2D Tales of game or a new 2D Tales of game.

Despite it's flaws Xillia 1 is one of my favorite games of all time. I have no idea why but I just love it so much.
