>One of the Abbey levels is called "saving kids" Oh god, they're gonna try to make a "morally gray" story by presenting Joel's murderer as a saint aren't they?
Do you guys think this story development will always be frustrating, no matter how well it's executed? I mean making you play as Joel's killer right after isn't the best move.
Benjamin Nguyen
it just looks like the first game minus the story and added "woke"
Cooper Jackson
Considering the lead writer and director of the game brags about being an "abuser of characters", the game's story was destined to be a dissapointment with only him at the helm. He just decided to take his retardation to another level.

> can we finally say Naughty Dog has lost their way? They lost it after Jak 1
Jose Martin
isnt this supposed to be a game about mushroom zombies? why havent we seen a single one so far?
Connor Taylor
I'm unconvinced that this turn necessarily makes for a bad story, but I'm glad Naughty Dog is getting fucked for their shitty treatment of employees in service of some narcissistic sociopath's artistic visions. That and for their overproduced movie games that are so dependent on story that a leak completely destroys any enjoyment its audience might have gotten from it.
Is anyone else in this camp? The /I don't really see how the story itself contradicts previous theming or narrative cohesion but fuck ND anyways/ camp?
I think its an utterly retarded decision from the perspective of someone trying to make money but I am impressed by the sheer balls on this guy to do this. I also suspect this will set back the clock on transexuals getting into games by decades, so at least there's that.
Ryder Roberts
Do they look like zombies to you?
Michael Jones
are we gonna get to see more leaks or we're done?

>streamable.com/kvc2hf Holy shit this is fucking gold. We should be spreading this everywhere.

Never played TLOU, i only know it on surface level, but jesus fuck imagine liking Joel as a character right now. Look at this dude. Didn't even die with some dignity, not even fighting or with his face up. Not even sprawled out like a proper dead man.
It's pityful, i legit feel bad looking at him, curled up like a baby while a gigatranny whacks him with a 9 iron. What a way to go.
Shit like this never worked. Take Assassin's Creed 3 for example - people loved Haytham, but later had to play as stupid Connor and kill Haytham later on after he dabbed on Connor for several levels.
With TLoU it's even worse. People were invested in Joel and Ellie, not tranny and friends.
Jacob Turner
There's better gore porn out there watching some giant buff person just beat up frail people is lame. Also zombies.
Jaxon Hall
It was a smart move actually. It's a shit game, but it's the first game representing LGBT and woke shit, so critics better be on their best behavior. Wouldn't want to look like a LGBT-hater, would we?
>morally gray no such thing. doing a good deed does not give you a murder free pass. Joel saved Ellie from literally Mengele = Good. Abby saves children = Good. Abby gets a Joel in one = Bad. Most importantly Joel killed the doctors in self defense to save ellie, Abby murders Joel for revenge.
We're the mushroom zombies! Don't you see? Its just like my high school literature classes!
Parker Bennett
>Most importantly Joel killed the doctors in self defense to save ellie, Abby murders Joel for revenge.
Fucking THIS. Joel asked Marlene not to go through with the surgery, she refused and told one of her goons to show Joel to the door. What fucking else was he supposed to do?
Joseph Martinez
The shrooms have mutated further, turning their hosts into rabid-angry trannies. Abby is one of the afflicted.
Robert Williams
Its odd isn't it. Zombies aren't as popular anymore, but the Last of Us is a famous IP so lets make a sequel anyway and not focus on the defining aspect.
Hence the quotations around "morally gray". They're gonna fuck it up spectacularly in the final product for sure. Not sure how you expect us to sympathize with a character whose first scene we get of her is beating the previous protagonist to death. You can only make one first impression, and ND fucked it up immediately.
