dying light's melee is pretty significantly improved from dead island, It's more like if dead island had been given some real love.
I played through it all solo and really enjoyed it.

Hellraid's assets were probably being unused, so they're using them. It's supposed to be some sort of mystical hell arcade machine that holds it, so the potential for it not being bogged down by lots of the other dying light shit is there.
I want a successor (spiritual or real) to Dark Messiah and I'll never get it.

Deep Silver must be a pain in the ass to work with. Both Techland and Yager left because of creative differences, nobody knows why Sumo Digital left, and they basically gave it to the Homefront The Revolution devs who delayed it to launch on next gen consoles.
