if you have to ask that then it's not really a problem you should care about
i only play with friends. playing online with random people is fucking hell.
because that looks fucking boring
Because games are about fun
>circuit racing
>difficult
youtube.com
OH NONONONO
its the pleb filter of racing. but you should still kys
In circuit racing you don't have your mate telling you all the answers to the test
And why not just take the next step and start doing drugs if effortless dopamine is all you're after for? Well drinking is probably more accessible way anyway.
Yea in circuit you memorize 10 turns and do the same 10 turns on a flat surface for 20 laps. At its core its basically braking minmaxing.
I've also got to worry about driving with other drivers which you can't memorize.
Rally drivers would shit themselves if they had to actually compete against other vehicles.
>physical contact with other players
And this is a good thing? You really enjoy getting rammed by people online? I've seen so many people getting turned off by rally just because there were no real opponents to ram into.
its a great thing when you play with friends
>1 corner 100 times
>100 corners 1 time
I know which one takes more skill for sure.
There's no interaction in rally. It's just hotlapping. If I want to play mulitplayer, it's going to be actively against other people.
Then go play other games.
wouldn't you? there's barely enough space for one car
it's about time rally divers learned some racing etiquette then.
That's why i'm playing iracing against others.
Still don't see how this is filling your needs for interaction with other people online. The point of racing is literally to AVOID interaction with others.
It's adding additional challenge and variety to an otherwise memorized hotlap. Hotlaps are boring.
>Tries to drift and then just gets T-boned
When will Initial D fags learn that knowing how to drift isn't practical for actually going fast. All that matters is your braking and reaction speed.
there's space for like 8 cars in a row. f1 is just european nascar.
>iracing
lmao
Name a better multiplayer on any platform and any genre.
And when will you fags learn that drifting is more fun than minmaxing?
Skill-based =/= fun.
Whats the point of playing games like this when you can do it in real life.
The entire point of video games is to do the impossible.
>just buy a racecar and get a racing license bro
>just travel cross country to different tournaments bro
i can understand your argument if it's about snooker games or videopoker but racecar driving?
Not everyone has unlimited money.
Do you have the money to buy a racecar and maintain it just so you can drive it at a track against other people once a month at best?
Or do you have $150 for a wheel and pedal set on sale.
I genuinely don't understand you people who say "just buy the real thing"
Why would I buy a slow shitbox?
There's real racecars out there. Why aren't you driving those?
Because I live in southern US and it'd be stupidly expensive to fly to Lake Louise Canada and rent a Mazda miata to drive around it while teaching myself stickshift
>tries to drift
Look at the proximity indicators, the orange Miata falls back, then veers left before he starts sliding. He wasn't trying to drift, he got PIT maneuvered by the guy in orange.
>while teaching myself stickshift
i was gonna make a typical comment but no. good for you man.go learn stick so you can finally grow a dick
Learning stick is piss easy anyway.
The hard part is Heel and toe braking
I've gotten to this point and need to build a rig. I usually hold the pedal set with one foot if things get hair, but I'm starting to need to do that and left-foot braking so my pedals are starting to slide.
