The original is a typical top-down JRPG. The remake is isometric with hand drawn backgrounds. They both have the same type of combat, except the remake is flashier.

More than anything I want ff6 remade in an Octopath style. Maybe expand the story of all of the characters in the 2nd half a bit more, but that's optional.

Yeah lol that whole intro went absolutely nowhere. I'm sure Game Arts wanted to continue that subplot in future Lunar games, but SSH was such a commercial flop that they never bothered to follow up on it.
