I bought it at launch because although ZTD was disappointing I had to be sure I wouldn't miss out and get spoiled on a new Uchikoshi mad trip.
I refunded it almost immediately, and honestly I don't even care that much if I get spoiled. I'm not dismissing the idea that at the end I may have enjoyed it, but for the price of admission the game is just way too janky and the writing is crap.
Kotaro Uchikoshi should be called Diminishing Returns.

There are few plotholes. I would be glad if somebody answered them for me.
So the whole point of the story was Saitou wanting his old body back, yet in the past he was more than eager to switch his body with Date?
How come Okumura and his wife never questioned Date having Saitou's body? Both of them even had connections to Saitou's father, so they had to know him.
I had one more, but if forgot what i was over time, so i will just post cute Aiba instead.

Outside of the Epilogue, which is more just a bullshit meta breaking free for all that can't really be considered canon anyways, Date "suddenly" knowing stuff from the other routes is easily explained by him getting fragments of his memory back and drawing the appropriate conclusions.
The only reason people even talk about the bullshit parallel worlds is because of Uchikoshi's other stories, it's really not something that comes up in AI outside of Iris' braintumor fueled delusions.

I liked it a lot. I has some jank, the action scenes were bad, and there's one or two characters that don't hit the mark. But overall I felt that the writing was great and the somniums were interesting. Huge improvement over ZTD.

If you enjoy the humor of it in the very first hour then you will have a blast. Mystery is good but lacks in the finale. Action scenes have 0 tention and are just there for comedic relief.
