After how shit the slum textures looked I was shocked at how amazing Shinra HQ was
I bet the slums were outsourced to that Malaysian studio while Square Japan did Chapter 1-2 and Shinra HQ inhouse. There's just a massive gulf of quality in assets, texture quality, and overall presentation that is hard to explain away. Shinra HQ has meticulous and ridiculous kind of attention to detail when it comes to graphics, whereas Chapter 8 slums are like a literal trash heap of low res textures, poor meshes, etc.
