>Game has themes of bullying, child abuse, euthanasia, suicide and sexual perversion
>It's from fucking 2001
Why aren't games mature anymore?
Game has themes of bullying, child abuse, euthanasia, suicide and sexual perversion
cringe.
Did games ever used to be mature?
The world isn't exactly full of Team Silent's, unfortunately.
The game tries to paint a man that murdered his wife because she wouldn't put out anymore in a sympathetic light. Fuck that misogynistic piece of shit game and fuck its obnoxious fanbase.
Extreme brainlet
Boundless retardation. Hope they find a cure soon, eggcel.
Unparalleled stupidity.
Cranially Cucked
I don't understand what James did wrong in this. He euthanised his already dying wife who actively wanted to die. There is no moral quandry.
Where do you get the impression she wanted to die? She didn't ask him to kill her.
She didn't want to die, she wanted to not be sick anymore. He didn't ask for her permission, and also, he didn't necessarily do it out of love. At least not out of love alone. There was a lot of anger and resentment there too, some of it justified, some of it over shit she had no control over. I don't understand why people are so uncomfortable with moral ambiguity.
>I don't understand why people are so uncomfortable with moral ambiguity.
Gamers and nerds rely on snarky anecdotes to explain everything to them. They could've actually used some games to expand their mindset.
Didn't turn out too well, sadly.
bro stop being a teenager
>b8 of this caliber
>still wasn't able to keep the thread away from page 10
Don't worry, b8-kun, I'll fix this wagon.
>he never figured out the rooftop diary
lmao
They are, but now the focus of that kind of game is "LOOK AT THE WHITE MAN WHO DID THIS".
TLoU 2 is coming out soon
>rooftop diary
Mary wasn't treated there. It belonged to one of the three J's you read about. The suicidal one. And he obviously an hero'd by jumping from the roof.
when i was a horny kid back in 2002 my dad bought me silent hill 2.
for some reason i thought this was a lewd game because of that cover and i proceeded to play it at night. but suddenly a fucking super creepy creature came and i freaked the fuck out and quickly turned my ps2 off. even until now i still don't have the courage to play it, even if i can play any other horror game easily.
>i thought this was a lewd game because of that cover
How?
that girl lying down like that looked sexy in my eyes back then.
The way game devs put in mature themes now is SJW shit, just look at those tlou2 leaks.
>retarded, spineless coomer
>shitposter
It checks out.
>shitposter
what?
You might like American McGee's Alice and VtMB too if you haven't played them. They touch on serious topics a lot.
Even if it's not SJW shit, it feels like they're all just trying to insert deep topics but they have no ability to do it in a creative way that doesn't just make it feel like it's telling you something you already know.
"And so I wait, wrapped in my
cocoon of pain and loneliness.
I know I've done a terrible
thing to you. Something you'll
never forgive me for.
I wish I could change
that, but I can't.
I feel so pathetic and ugly
laying here, waiting for you..."
Sounds like she's having the time of her life, yeah
A shit post would be any post that's totally worthless to the topic at hand, or is otherwise worthless. So for example, an OP can be a shitpost, but it would have to be something like "what did he mean by this?" Or one of the other hundred worthless topics that get spammed by retards here and on other shitpost heavy boards.
In the case of the Avon who thought SH2 was a porn game and got too scared to ever play it again, it's just worthless information in this context.
Like, if someone had asked what everyone's first experience with SH2 was like; and the user posted that, then it's fine. But to just blurt it out like an autistic weirdo out of the blue is a shitpost.
It makes the user look like he has no clue how conversations work. He saw a topic, wanted in, but rather than read and contribute just tossed in an anecdote weirdly.
Worthless shitpost
Sadly, mature only sells if shock value is involved these days.
I personally also liked Soul Reaver, because while it's not as extreme as other serious games, it deals with a lot of serious topics. Betrayal, fratricide, loyalty and duty to name a few.
It's very Shakespearean (so to speak) in it's way though. As characters usually dont exactly emote, but rather give speeches.
>themes of
>doesn’t list a single theme
Ok
Teen drama serbian film edition isn't mature at all.
Solo revenge plot in realistic post-apocalypses world? By women? It's one step from Hunger games in retardation.
I can't wait for a woke reboot of Silent Hill 2.
Angela will be a black, muslim convert, hijab wearing woman abused by her adoptive Christian white father. Eddie will wear a MAGA hat and his revolver will be replaced by an AR15. Laura will be kid drag queen. Marie/Maria will be an overweight latina.
