Origins and (especially) Odyssey worked because the realised settings were amazingly fun to play around in and explore, even though the gameplay itself was below average. I don't really see the same format working with a norse setting, they'd either need to go FULL mythology with it or change up the formula again

Honestly I think they should stop making AssCreed games or hand it over to someone who can. Every game since the original has been plagued by problems, can't talk for Odyssey because I haven't played it, but I'll hazard a guess and say they stuck to the shitty combat, boring quests formula.

All these games have going for them anymore is exploring a cool setting. This is just going to be more of the same.
