Judging by DS3, the engine is mostly taxing the CPU, which is fucking trash on both base and Pro models. He can lower the resolution to 480p and it still won't help

I noticed this with the original dark souls 60fps patch. Even the devs clearly never got the fuckin thing to run over 30, so some things break or feel weird.
Ideally all of them would run at 60 but once you get used to it, it does feel pretty natural
