Depends on how big that Sony check is. Also Atlus is still living 20 years in the past so you should never get your hopes up for jack shit from them.

we don't even know whether Scramble is gonna get localized or not. Atlus makes dumb decision sometimes. Golden being gatekept on vita is proof enough.

Atlus is weird in that they treat their niche (yes persona is still niche) series to the apple standard of having exclusivity on platforms despite having zero contractual obligation to sony or nintendo.

I have no doubt they would make a profit selling the Royale version on the switch and I don't think they're oblivious to this fact. However there's someone at Atlus who is deciding that they must remain loyal to their top titles remaining exclusive to certain platforms or else fans might get upset or something. Sega (remember how they own atlus now?) isn't scared of even putting the Yakuza games on the xbox now (Yes MS is more than likely funding 100% the ports from PC but still) but their subsidiary would rather lose a potential million or two copies sold to appease... i'm not sure.

It also begs the question why 3 and 4 never got updates. This seems like a sure, easy thing to do. It's not like Atlus doesn't have the man power when they could have their b tier teams be working on ports. Anyways I'm typing an essay but the question to your answer OP is I would hope so, but Atlus seems content with keeping P5 as a JRPG exclusive to sony for no reason.

I can see it coming to switch but knowing Atlus they're going to take their sweet time for it. So no sooner than 2022. Just get it on PS4 or emulate if you want to play it that badly. You're not a little baby, you don't need to have it portable to enjoy it.

I'm a pessimistic guy. Also there was the matter of bankruptcy and that the decision to localize Scramble is all up to the survey they did. I hope we won't get any monkey paw stuff this time. I's really hyped for Scramble because it's clearly P5 sequel and there's still s'link aspect and other Persona stuff beside the musou game core.

Are you talking about Index? Atlus needs something to keep busy. I dont know of any other Sega projects they'd be working on in them mean time. I'm more surprised we got Q2 honestly.

yes, I just hope this won't hinder them in any way. I love Atlus for how low key they are but I love the fact that they finally get the spotlight with Persona 5 being one of the best jrpg of this era. Hopefully Persona 6 will be in a massive scale that was never before seen. Maybe include a college student phase even or make the world as big as inFamous 2, don't have to be on GTA V level.
