Writing's almost never been a strong suit in the series but holy FUCK is Fates' abysmal.
That mixed with all kinds of unnecessary character changes through localization completely bastardized a lot of the cast.
Honestly it's even worse when a character is actually well-written to an extent but is then fucked over by being stuck in Fates.
Just look at Marx's supports compared to him in the story.

Even if we just look at that, Fates fucking fails since only 1 out of the 3 games had good gameplay. 1/3rd is still a failing grade.

I've seen a lot of people praise Echoes for its art and music, and sometimes because it's not as "problematic" and vulgar as Fates, but as soon as I asked for info and opinions on the level design and gameplay I was either ignored or told "oh I just watched the cutscenes on youtube, but I'm a real fan, trust me!! :)"

How can you say that? Did you not see her succulent 8 unrestricted movement, those voluptuous 21 base strength, 19 speed and 18 defense. And as if that weren't enough, if you look deep into her you'll find she can increase all of those by 2 points if she reclasses to Wyvern Lord.

She truly is the single best character in all of Conquest.
