This was great.

At 4 years-old, my family had a trip planned to go from the L.A. area up to Yellowstone. Knowing that I'd be bored out of my mind otherwise, my parents bought for me a gameboy and Links Awakening.
That's what got me into games, what made me a gamer was a friend's older brothers: At 11, I was thrust into Halo multiplayer and was implicitly told to become competent. I became a grenade specialist.
