> While working on The Last of Us ... I wanted to create one of the coolest, non-sexualized female protagonists, and I felt like with The Last of Us there was an opportunity here to change the industry. - IGDA 2013

Not saying his views have changed since the development of TLOU1. It's very common practice for a writer to push their personal views on a story, and there's nothing really wrong with that. It just needs to be done without going overboard, and that seems to be the case for TLOU2
>It's very common practice for a writer to push their personal views on a story >It just needs to be done without going overboard i agree writers should write about your opinion instead

Big words from a rapist
Adam Ward
i agree with your opinion hidden beneath sarcasm; that every main character should be a bull dyke tranny and you're a bigot if you think otherwise
Josiah Stewart

>create strong "female" character >said characters kills previous main character who is beloved by pretty much everyone >try and force people to empathize with the super tranny mc because they killed it's father nice game. nice writing. nice nose.

It's more important for women to be represented in fiction than for real women to have jobs.

that isn't what i said. i'm just shocked at somebody being stupid enough to think that writers shouldn't be putting their personal views on a story. the only reason it seems that it's "gone overboard" to you is because it's something that personally upsets you. if this was the exact same story about a bunch of dudes killing each other over stupid shit you wouldn't have even batted an eye, but your brain is leaking out of your ears because there's female characters and trannies doing it. now why might that be?
Adrian Anderson

>chad video game companies know vidya have to be bootlegged on shitter stories to gain market traction

My patience and wallet are both limited, therefore i keep things simple. If it has sexy women i buy. If it doesn't into the trash it goes and my moni goes elsewhere where there's sex appeal.
Females will never be strong, trannychads have proved this by vandalizing their women's rape shelters, blowing the shit out of women in sports and athletics while nerfed, and kicking all biological womyn out of gaming competitions and replacing them.
nothing's being shoved down your throat. you're paying 60 dollars to shove it down your own throat. if you don't want it shoved down your throat, don't pay 60 dollars.
Brody Jones
His poor daughter. She's going to grow up to be a blue haired dyke hambeast.
sharing one's opinions on important thematical premises are how society continues forward and adapts. If you're unwilling to have differing opinions, then you end up in a massive fucking echo chamber of people who have the same exact opinions as yours.... like reddit.

It's a video game. Video games are meant to be fun. Politics aren't meant for video games, especially when they start killing of your favorite characters.

I wonder if the tone of the second game, along with Abby's design, is influenced in part by an anger at the internet for taking his "cool, non-sexualized protagonists" and just sexualizing them anyway not to mention everything the internet did with Sarah
Caleb Young
>It's just what is trendy t. sjw trying to damage control threatening people, coordinating political attacks, and extorting companies is what your kind are doing. its not a trend.
Aiden Sanchez
Politics ARE meant for video games. Just not politics written by white middle-to-upper class white trust fund kiddies who also happen to be Social Justice Evanglists like 90% of leftists are who have never picked up a book on politics and political sciences in their life and their entire knowledge of the world can be summed up in Harry Potter, Twilight, and Gender Studies.
Also don't forget to buy a dog for yourself to save your life when dating.
