They didn't fix the crap audio mixing unless I'm mistaken. It's better than the Director's Cut hackjob but did they finally patch the Switch game to fix all the missing sound effects or dialogue getting cut off? Sound too loud/too quiet? That only happens on the Switch version. Also all the voice is heavily compressed because mobile storage.
I still think the 360 version is the best, I don't mind tank controls though.

my bad user, i thought they confirmed on twitter that they were gonna patch it back in, when in fact i got mixed up with swerys tweet where he doubled down on not having the directors cut content.
after a little digging it seems like it has to do with elements from DC clashing with potential story stuff in 2 so theoretically DC stuff is non canon

I never finished the game because of crashing really far away from saves, repeatedly, but playing it on RPCS3 might actually be a good alternative with the savestates. You've given me some hope I never really considered.

I don't know if I'd say that. It would be the best way to play Director's Cut but for the OG that would be the Xbox One right now unless Red Seeds Profile gets all the text ported off of the 360 version somehow. Also, doesn't the PS3 version have some crashes in DC that Switch doesn't? So that would still have PS3 being better as a debatable thing.

Just completed it on PC with like 4 crashes max. Takes like 30 mins of effort to find the proper fixes for it. No it's not, 360 version is still the best followed by PS3 then switch/pc are interchangeable depending on how lucky/lazy you are. If you can get the PC version to work it's hands down the best one
