i cant fucking wait to play mancala with strangers

so hype

I need to learn how to play that, seems convoluted.

Unironically Yes, it looks really fun for online play.

its fun and easy to learn

It's better than playing Connect 4 or generic Uno all day I guess.

This shit should have dropped the day of announcement

Sort of just for the convenience that it offers. I've used virtual board games when when I visit my grandparents for years now.

I mean it will sell millions regardless, so.

lmao just play the actual board game with your friends virgin

Apparently, this trailer just got released.

*exhales*
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

rude

Better have a fucking stellar soundtrack like the DS version

Used to play that shit as a kid. Great game. Not gay enough to own a switch though.

Very excited, I'll be able to play mahjong with friends because I'm too dumb to learn how to set up tenhou (and my friends would be too lazy to learn if it wasn't packaged in bing bing wahoo)

50 other games, $40.

Shame there's no real Go.

Release date?

June 5.

It looks really well made and the games are timeless so you can enjoy the game even 20 years later. I will definitely get it.

Does anybody know if it's single player friendly?

Yeah

A few are, and most games are online.

wait how would you even exhale first before laughing out loud, that just doesn't make sense.

hyped is a strong word but I am probably gonna get it day one assuming there's threads here. not so sure I'd bother if it was with complete strangers instead of just relative strangers.

>mancala
absolutely based

Thanks

always nice to see Nintendo going back to their roots

Np

>Does anybody know if it's single player friendly

Yes, it has difficulty options for just playing alone against the computer. Also if only 1 person has the game, other people with Switches can still play locally.

But will the Mahjong be good?

post yfw they add a hanafuda card rep to smash to tie in with this game

The mahjong and koi-koi portions have sold me on it.

Has to be better than anything the Switch has right now. One of the only English versions of riichi mahjong has framedrops as the other is a port.

I literally have never heard of half the games in this collection. The fuck is Hare and Bounds, Chinese Checkers and Ludo?

>Mahjong
>frame drops
How is this even possible?

>this game
>not Nintendo's 130-year history of making hanafuda cards

I get Hare and Hounds and Ludo (generic Parcheesi) but how have you never heard of Chinese checkers?

but people are still doing social distancing shit user

only if I can play texas hold em with randoms. mahjong on switch would also be cool.

I meant like if they added a hanafuda rep to pay homage to Nintendo’s long history of making the cards but it was this game that is the tie in for it

These are the 44 games that support online. Which ones are missing?

Slot Cars, for one.

>finally get a good bowling game for Switch
>still not as comfy as Wii Sports Bowling

What a goddamn shame.
