PCs were more expensive I had a console way before I could afford a PC.

I was last gen console + toaster pc poorfag master race

I love the red eyes in all these oldphotos

But a PC you have by default, your parents need it for work. Console is an extra expense just for you and your games.

this, the only reason my brother was able to convince our father to get a pc was because it was needed for school. not to mention internet access.

No, PC gaming was pretty niche. Everyone in class had an N64 or PS1

My uncle got a pc from a dealer across the street in 1994. Shaddy shop, barely opened, had everything needed for pc.
He was in college, needed one so. He got it for a thousand dollars in 1995, along with a friend. each paid 500 dollars technically.

It had a 16 bit graphics card so it was pretty awesome.

All pedos will hang!

We had a PC with games, then got a SNES.

Yeah, I had my parent's and my cousin's to mess around with. If I wanted anything else I would just do the arcade cabinets at the gas station a few blocks down

mom wouldn't buy me a PC until i was like 15, she said it took up too much space
she got me any console I wanted though

obsessed

what are they playing some bootleg version of mario?

toaster pcs cost like $4000 in the 90s

no

Looks like Bubsy. The DOS port of Mario wasn't very good.

Yep. We had a family PC which I had to share with my sis. I had to take turns on the computer which sucked.

My parents were an elementary school teacher and a music teacher back in the early 90's they would have no use for a PC at home for work.
It wasn't until the mid 90's when the internet became more wide spread that more common people saw the need for a PC. Before 1995 your parents would have to be in a high paying technical occupation to have a PC in the house, which means you would be the rich retard.

red eyes in old photos means no soul

Why is she wearing a choker in the 90s?

most people here right now grew up in the 2000s,
this pic was taken in 2000

Wtf that's my niece on the left.

I was the poor console retard from across the street that only had last gen consoles, actually.

Cute niece, do you play with her a lot?

*mating presses the one on the left*

I can't believe how much data was lost from the transition to 90s and early 2000s to around 2003-2005 when YouTube and MySpace were made. So many great images, videos, flash, video games, etc. completely lost forever because they were only ever saved to 1 server and hardly anyone back then actually saved and archived things. It's similar to when Xfire shut down and everyone lost all their gaming memories from pics/vids. We just didn't think the Internet would change and didn't think anything would get shut down.

These girls will grow to get their brains fucked out by a BBC

During my childhood PC were for the rich, I had a NES growing up, then a GBA then a Gamecube and that's it.

you just know they are sucking black dicks nowadays

Dude, they are too young for that, the one on the left can give me a wholesome hj while we cuddle though.

The idea of them getting plowed and breed by the ogres of the earth is hot. And I hope it was moments after this photo was taken

>mouse in front of a keyboard
Those were the days people didn't even know how to use a mouse

kinda
i had sonic r, lego island, lego stunt rally and lego racers
they were alright i guess
i mostly played on my gameboy as a kid

Lol. You were rich if your parents worked at a computer at home in 90s.

My childhood was like
>NES
>sold games and console to get a SNES
>same thing to get a genesis
>same thing to get an n64
>got a gba
>sold n64 games and console to get a ps1
>sold gba, got a DS
>sold ps1 games and console to get a ps2
>got a PC
>sold everything I had to upgrade it to a gaming pc
>updated my PC every year or so, from 2006 till 2018
>got a Ps4 pro
>trying to decide if I get a ps5 or xbox

My parents had this idea that if I was to get a new console, I had to sell my previous one. This sucked because nowadays I really wish I had some of those consoles and games from my childhood.

At least I can buy my own shit now
