I'm so close to biting on a physical copy. I've always wanted to try this game but I already have such a backlog plus Xenoblade and W101R coming soon
Did they patch it yet? I bought it day 1 and couldn't beat the first level because an enemy got stuck underground and a switch wouldn't flip. I don't know if those two bugs were related but I never had any issues like that with the PS3 version.

I skipped out on buying it at launch because of the crippling audio issues, but I've had none of those in my time playing and I'm at the hospital. No bugs or issues other than some really awful screen tearing in the opening cutscene.
Does the switch port perform well? Any stuttering issues? I've been wanting to buy it.
There's been some occasional nasty stutter while driving but other than that, no. Or at least nothing I hadn't already experienced in the 360 version.
Honestly it seems as though all releases of this game come with their own issues so none of them are perfect, though Switch seems to be the most stable at least.
I'm excited but I don't think a sequel will hold the same magic. There's so many wild twists and turns I can't just see them pulling off a 2

Really like twin peaks dropped the original because everything felt stiff, cheap and I felt like the supernatural stuff was unimaginative and kinda "cringe" for lack of a better word

Why not try going in with a careful eye and have a look for the things that are unusually competent, that even huge-budget AAA games don't do? For example, working bedcovers (cloth lying on top of character models is really hard to animate! Thich is why characters in games usually lie on top of beds instead of in them, not in this game though), and the convincing size of the game world (it is actually the appropriate size and density for a small town, unlike say GTAV which packs a major city into an area you can cross within five minutes). Or the bizarre and innovative storytelling tools, such as using intentionally poor audio mixing when having breakfast with Polly (who is trying to have a conversation with York from a great distance) making her just as difficult to hear for the player as she is for York, or how the subtitles in some scenes will change size and font for major revelations to add impact. Or maybe just the way it's oozing with charm, from York geeking out about B-movies on long drives to the way all the characters' car license plates being personalised with character references, easter eggs and sometimes main plot spoilers.
The game is definitely jank as hell but the devs still put a hell of a lot of effort in, even if they probably didn't put that effort into the right areas. There's a lot to love.
Is the song in the trailer a full song? Really like it.
Well, it's an original song created for this game. So I'm going to say yes but you're not going to actually hear it until the soundtrack comes out.
