A static world does not mesh well with multiple replays. Its just hours of doing the same fetch quests and passing the same speech checks you already know exist
When you hit the point where you know exactly what loot is in the random box by the car outside the prison there's not much left to get from the game

Well at least with fallout 3 or oblivion or something like that there's some randomness to the world itself. In new Vegas there will always be the same rad scorpions at the gas station by Mojave outpost, and the same raider ambush carrying the same gear every time
You'll always need a 25 explosive skill to get Pete's dynamite, etc.

I almost wish they had stuck with percentage rolls for skill checks like they had in 3 , especially with how broken speech is in nv

Just roleplay a character. Currently I'm using the robot race mod to roleplay as a robot mobster, right down to a laser tommygun. I do what's good for business and good for robots, hence why I made the robot sheriff of Primm.
I'm currently torn on whether to have Mr. House or Yes-Man run Vegas. On one hand, House is good for business and that's what a gangster would do. On the other hand, backing an AI is what a robot would do.

Any route that doesn't involve passing the credit check to get into the strip. It's way more fun to get it through NCR or the Kings
