>Not Mixed By Mick Gordon
I've only listened to the ones mixed by him so far and fuck it sounds so much worse what the fuck were they thinking

X to doubt.
More likely another trend chasing dipshit who was listening to mp3 tracks on his apple airpods, then saw the news about the outrage, and now suddenly the music connoisseur is unimpressed.

It is still Gordon's music FYI, and still from the game. It just isn't given the justice that it deserves.

maybe you are deaf

I don't like the music in Doom Eternal.

Yeah the tracks are so horrible when they are in the game too. Now that he mixed very few himself, suddenly those specific tracks are like night and day difference lmao.

gtfo and go read up on some more hashtags on twitter to follow bitchboy.

The tracks from the game are different retard

Am I the only one who has the music kinda just go in one ear and come out the other? I can't really remember any of the music after playing.
Except the menu theme I guess.

it's weird everytime someone said DOOM games, my head just started playing duke nukem main theme instead lol. I guess classic doom main theme doesn't that memorable to me to duke nukem but hey, DOOM still a good game and wish duke nukem could get same treatment as Eternal.... oh wait, probably not in Randy fucking pitchford

Icon of Sin. I love shouting with guys and smashing air with my fist imitating IoS trying to hit a Slayer

I hear music I kind of like but I'm too busy concentrating on the gameplay given how hectic it is, so I look it up after
Duke nukem theme is way better than DOOMs

the one that goes: papapapapappapapa tututututuutu PAAAAAAaaAaA TUTUTUTUU

WA AW WAAAAAA

"the only thing they fear is you" is great
shame bethesda decided to fuck up the soundtrack launch so the whole OST isn't obtainable in high bitrate

That's because you are a gay hipster. It could not fit more perfectly with the gameplay which is also great.

He still mixed the music in the game, which is scripted and mixed dynamically so it's not set tracks that play out the same way every playthrough.

The issue is with the seperate collector's edition soundtrack, which was mixed in a rush by an amateur. With the exception of a couple of the tracks Mick Gordon mixed, it's better to record the dynamic mix from the game itself by playing the game with FX turned off. The OST mastering pissed off Mick because his reputation is on the line, it's essentially going to be looked at as 'his' metal album on his resume.

That being said I think Arc Complex has the best music, youtu.be/Y4QeQXwAits

which I think is where the OST track The Only Thing They Fear is You comes from

> mfw the studio Mic usually working with on mixing is ptoducing releases for Protest the Hero

For me it's a tie between DOOM Hunted and Cultist Base
I was disappointed that the official Gladiator mix didn't have the heavy metal choir intro and outro from the trailers, just listen to this:

most annoying track in the game, it's actually shit.

Super Gore Nest. This track is the best one Mick Gordon has produced yet.

Also, I'm not big on Mick's music, I find the 2016 soundtrack extremely overrated, I never quite got the appeal. I think he did a much better job with this soundtrack, it's still not something I consider like a god tier soundtrack or anything, but it has a couple of really strong songs, SGN being the absolute best, I actually listen to it outside of hte game.

This track is so good that I've played through this level multiple times just to hear it while fighting.

The composition is untouched
It's the mix and audio quality that are subpar
The song is still great, the quality is just shit

The issue isn't bitrate, like at all. Bitrate doesn't equate to higher perceived quality above a certain point and it came out in 24 bit flac anyway

I kind of dislike the official version despite linking it. The game rip one is so much better, and I'm not even necessarily talking about the mix/mastering but just the pace of the song, also the "fly" in the game rip one is so much better.
youtube.com/watch?v=X_C2xj4iHfU

Shame that the official one isn't as good.

it made sense in a roundabout way in my head
no official mick gordon mixes released in high bitrate > have to rip from game > no official mixes in high bitrate

It's also by far the best level in the game, and shits on any level in Doom 2016 as well. SGN is fucking absolute god tier on every level.

Do you think Bethesda will nut up and we will get the rest mixed by Gordon?

the Sign of Evil E1M8 callback gave me tingles
youtu.be/Z1-w8MmVTZE

Meathook

>most of the tracks not mixed by Gordon just abruptly end. No conclusion or satisfying ending
This pains me more than literally anything else
Some of Micks mixes has the choir going ham at the end to wrap up the songs and it shype as fuck

damn only just noticed this

super gore nest is also the only good level in the game, go figure
