1,2, 3, Tag1 and 5/DR are absolute classics.
4 is eh but it's soundtrack and story were still great
6 has the best customization and is basically only remembered for it's big Tekken Force mode
Tag2 has best roster and if you like team combos you'll like this

I missed the last gen games and didn’t play the PS2 games as much as the original trilogy. Am I wrong to think the character models have been massively inflated over the years? They look massive and chunky (and just “wrong”) in 7. They had a more athletic look in the PS1 games which I preferred and now they look squat.
