I played the first one and would’ve played a sequel, but I completely lost interest in a sequel the second I played uncharted 4 and saw how druckman fucking murdered it. I saw the writing on the wall for awhile.

but the fucking leaks made me reconsider my preorder of TLOU2, even though i know the gameplay will get better, the leaks show abundance of boring walking + talking levels without any gameplay and the characters i saw (apart from ellie and joel, but that's just cause i know them already) fucking disgust me.

The first game was okay, but it was always weird to me that it got praised as one of the greatest games ever when it was pretty average at best. Didn't really care about it enough to be excited for the sequel.

Pretty much. Part of the reason I enjoyed TLOU1 so much was because I had no idea what will happen next and I could not have predicted how it ended. Without that, it will just not be the same. Maybe I will get it 2 years later from the bargain bin for like 15 bucks.

I've played the multiplayer a bit. I got past the prologue on PS+ but then the remastered version was made free and I couldn't be arsed to go through the prologue again.

I thought it was a over hyped walking tech demo but had something interesting about it. Now they've somehow butchered the very small things that made it playable and turn it into absolute garbage and forgot it was a zombie game.

I thought the game did not need a sequel, and like everyone on Yas Forums, I thought the human enemies' AI looked fucking amazing and I bought it because of that. It was less than great, overall not a bad game, but fucking overrated and the story to me was nothing special.
I don't see how this lead to all this outrage regarding Pt. II, how now most faggots here are now huge Joelfags because liking the Last of Us is cool now, I guess, because new bad old good.
I don't totally buy the leaks, as in, we know that Joel dies, we know that Ellie and Dina get rekt by Abby, but aside from that, that scene of Ellie going after Abby and then seeing her with Lev in some random place is not indicatory that the game ends there. We have also not seen any Abby gameplay. No skin off my back, but I doubt we have a full picture of what goes on.

TLoU was a one and done for me. I enjoyed it while it lasted, but never had any interest in revisiting this world or characters. And the gameplay isn't strong enough to warrant paying for a sequel.
