Persona 5: Scramble will not be localized for the Nintendo Switch

Scramble's localization by KT is being delayed for the PS4, and suspended entirely for the Nintendo Switch. Even the European version for Switch is nowhere to be seen.

KT being shit tier as usual.

>adds joker to smash
>doesn't release the main game just a spin-off on the switch
>the spin-off doesn't even get a west release on switch
oh no no no

Doesn't matter if it's not even the original P5. Why would someone who owns only a Switch buy a sequel to a game he didn't play?

Bandwagoners

I guess. I wish they would hurry up and finish SMTV instead already. I played P5 on my PS4 and all I liked about it was the style and music. I want to try Shin Megami Tensei and compare them.

The game runs like shit on the Switch. This is a good thing.

I don't know why this got a shitch version in the first place

it's possible to own both a ps4 and a switch

And in addition: Why would I play P5 Scramble on the Switch, if I have a PS4. I have both consoles, but looking at both versions, „to go“ is no argument for a clearly inferior version of the game. It‘s even weirder than P4U on Xbox 360.

You're going to be waiting for awhile. Why not just play anyone of these?

So that just confirms Sony has some kind of exclusivity deal with persona right?

source?

No, Sony isn't involved. KT developed the game under commission of Atlus. Xbox seems to have been left out, so nobody really knows what is going on.

Considering their new focus on big AAA cinematic games, I doubt they would invest money and time to make a niche JRPG series exclusive to their console. It is possible since Persona is popular but it still makes nowhere near Final Fantasy or God of War kinds of money. It's more likely Atlus decided poor Japanese switch sales indicate a lack of switch support worldwide and would rather cut their losses by providing support for Koei to translate only the PS4 version.

I got pissed for a second, then I remembered I am an idort.Would still prefer to get it on switch though

>Sony isn't involved
That seems very unlikely given it would take absolutely nothing to do the switch version for the west as well.

lol

Blame Atlus. KT localises everything on switch

Yeah I have both consoles and to be fair, I'd prefer the PS4 version, it just runs better.
That's why I said "Why would someone who owns only a Switch".

Nocturne (PS2) or SMT IV (3DS) are probably the best places to start if you want to try out the mainline series

no, it was literally released for nintendo switch in japan

Read the thread user.

Don't listen to this user image, it's outdated and full of lies
SMT 1 and 2 on the PSX are better starting points

?
it's already released for the switch, that wouldn't be possible if it was an exclusive

I actually forgot that was also released for PS3.

Is Nocturne the one with Dante cameo? Does it still hold up today?

Fake and gay, but nobody wants this game on Switch anyway. Atlus is retarded.

>SMT 1 and 2 on the PSX are better starting points
That's the worst place you could possible start from especially when it comes to the ps1 versions.

>It is possible since Persona is popular but it still makes nowhere near Final Fantasy or God of War kinds of money.
the game is cheap to develop. They're guaranteed to make profit so as long as they don't exceed budget.

good. get fucked nincels.

>Is Nocturne the one with Dante cameo? Does it still hold up today?
It is indeed, and yeah, the gameplay and graphics have aged really well, the cel shading helped it out a lot in that regard.
The only thing that feels archaic is the UI and the inability to choose which spells are inherited during fusion, but besides that anyone can jump into it if they're not retarded.

Easy money since KT already had the engine running on Switch. (Zelda and FE Musou)

the dragon quest heroes games were not released in the west on switch because of how bad they ran same thing here

>Switch
who cares. PS4 and PC ports are the focus for the western release
