So with all the TloU2 drama it got overshadowed, but major TES VI info got leaked recently
It's from the same source that leaked FO76 and the FO4 story details, so it's 90% legit
Leaks coming in next post
Minor spoilers ahead

>The Elder Scrolls VI: Redfall will take place in High Rock and Hammerfell six years after the events of Skyrim. The general political scene will be that Hammerfell is very well off and in a relatively stable state (by Tamrielic standards) while High Rock is much more fractured among the many nobles and their territories - a bit similar to Skyrim in the sense that there will be very clearly defined subregions, but most of these regions will be warring against each other. This is because Bethesda wants to use this generation’s hardware to create some huge, epic battle scenes with dozens, if not hundreds of characters battling on screen in real time.
>The Orcs, who add another dimension to the conflict in High Rock, were another major reason Bethesda wanted to create this scene. One of the main story missions features literally hundreds of Orcs charging down a mountain and pillaging/burning down a city called Jehanna. From what I’m hearing, think the siege on Whiterun from Skyrim times 10.
>Direnni Tower will play a major role in the main questline and will be visible from many places on the map, much like the White-Gold Tower in Oblivion, or downtown Boston in Fallout 4. The climax of the story takes place on the Isle Of Balfiera, and as such, ship travel will be in the game.
>Bethesda intend to build off of vehicle mechanics developed for Starfield to allow players to traverse the Iliac Bay in ships. The current plan is that there will be several different ships to buy and some very light customization for them. They’ll range from a rowboat to a big four-sail pirate ship. They all can be crewed by NPC’s in the same way that the player can assign NPC’s to different jobs at settlements in Fallout 4. (By the way, speaking of mechanics, spell crafting is back. Don’t know much about it.)
>The game world is not being sacrificed for this new mechanic. Based on what I’ve heard and seen, Daggerfall will be the biggest city Bethesda has ever built. They’re taking notes from CD Projekt Red for creating the feeling of a dense, bustling city, but are also trying to maintain their motif where every character truly lives there and has a schedule and will do activities as they see fit.
>More unique and interesting quests is also a priority. I only know of one specific example but it sounds pretty cool: A lighthearted sidequest is planned in one of the cities where the player is asked to babysit a trio of Khajiit children (kittens?) because the mother needs to go to the market and get more fish for them. This, like most of the game, is still in conceptual stages, but at the moment the Khajiit kittens are intended to look extremely adorable and innocent. They proceed to wreck the house, give the player rude dialogue, and one of them will kill and eat a skeever. It’s generally supposed to be a very chaotic minute or two. Upon the mother’s return, she’ll be furious with the player. A speech check can calm her down, or the player can antagonize her to the point of combat, in which case the kittens can later be found in the town’s orphanage.
>I also know that it will release in Q4 2024 and one of the DLC’s will be on Stros M’Kai, which will cater a lot to the ship mechanic. So yeah, its gonna be a long wait still but I think they’re really going all out with this one. Oh, and Starfield is coming next year, not this year as some believe. That’s pretty much everything I know, but I’ll try to answer any good-faith questions. Thanks everyone :)
>Bethesda
Sounds pretty cool. Can't wait for the pregnancy mods.
ok but can I sword sing and blow up continents ?
2024?! fuck that shit i need new tes now
>biggest city Bethesda has ever built
That's not saying much
Wakand- I mean Hammerfell is the richest region in Tamriel.

who cares tell us more about Starfield
This user has his priorities straight. Never change Yas Forums
The sad part is, it will probably look worse than modded Skyrim
>>More unique and interesting quests is also a priority.
The game might actually turn out decent if this is true.
>Hammerfell
isnt that the negro part of tamriel? dropped if so
Nord barbarians are everywhere ready to enrich the land with multiculturalism
>believing "see that mountain?"-tier lies over and over again
This is why Todd doesn't even have to try anymore
>if this is true
2024? wtf are they retarded
>Q4 2024
Pilotable ships? Next you’ll be telling me you can climb ladders
what's wrong with it

So after everyone and their mom has played all the souls series, from Dark Souls to Sekiro, between Skyrim and TES VI. Will they actually work on the combat?
Will they bring back the "Tabletop" feeling?
>believing anything Bethesda promises
>Redguard society is advanced and sophisticated
>br*Ton savages are at eachothers' throats and oppressing the poor Orcs
>Promises
This is leaks, bro
Not the same thing
>Will they bring back the "Tabletop" feeling?
Never
>Will they actually work on the combat?
The best thing we can hope for can is they make combat like the MMO where you have a class that gives you certain abilities to use and then you have access to all the skills. Without having to worry about a server, combat could be pretty fluid.
>4 years from now
welp, time to spend my neetbux in a healthier way
They probably would be fine with Nords. That be said, if you want to ''enrich'' some race in Tamriel, then you have to send your women, because babies take after their mothers, even over long generations (that's why bretons are still are more human than mer).
>Skyrim but with Moba abilities
Christ. Kill me now.
Leaks are apart of the hype cycle now. Every company knows how leaks can drum up hype for a game and they don't have to pay anyone to advertise it. They just take someone from in the company, have them pretend to be leaking it to a media outlet and boom.
>probably
no dude, tabletop is for sweatbeards and sequestered to crpg's
as it should be.
unless you want to see baldur's gate turn into fucking skyrim
Bethesda has never been about emulating a tabletop. If you follow the history of their games at all, you'd know this.
morrowind combat is based on dice roll mechanics
i am more interest in starfield at the moment please leak
>if true, it’ll have been 13 years between major Elder Scrolls games
Jesus Christ.
>vehicle mechanics
No thank you.
can you imagine? the horses barely fucking worked. imagine multiple vehicular mobility.
And they stepped away from that with Oblivion. Expecting them to go back to that is like expecting a rock to roll up a mountain.
Well think of it this way. The games have been taking place in one region at a time. Instead of having an exclusively Hammerfell centered game, they added the Tamrielic version of western Europe to go with it. I think they know a black/brown centered setting will not be as successful as a Euro one. At least not in the fantasy genre
