30 isn't a requirement, that's just what you'll probably be at if you don't grind. 95 is ridiculous for that part of the game.

Hard to judge when they fucking wrecked me on my first playthrough. Them and Logarius. And Gherman. And oh god, Gascoigne, Gascoigne grinded me into a pulp.
And then on my second playthrough I destroyed everything without blinking. I don't know.

Why would you grind in a game like this? You can accidentally overlevel yourself just by diverging off the main path and killing optional bosses that are already easy to begin with. The games hardest bosses are also in the DLC and these guys are pushovers? I don't know or care who this e-celeb is but he sounds like the epitome of a shitter.

I always have a harder-than-normal time with Shadows, I'd say that Witch, The One Reborn, Micolash and Mergo's Wetnurse are easier regardless of level
