PCSX2 is okay for what it is, but as a whole has been a very mismanaged project. Plugin dependancy should have also been dropped years ago.

I gave up on good PS2 emulation years ago. Bought a fatty + 2TB drive w/ OPL loser + hdmi out compatible cable and haven’t looked back

There's nothing badly managed when I'm playing games at 4k with 16x filtering at consistent 60fps. Seems like a massive cope on your end when a single game you DIDN'T EVEN DO THE RESEARCH ON, didn't work - but it does work, but you didn't know that because you're a fucking idiot.

Pcsx2 is a little clunky and far from perfect but I'm fortunate enough that all the games I want to emulate run fine. Currently playing pic related on my vita over moonlight and it's comfy AF on the shitter.

Good for you if your favorite game works on pcsx2. However try that shit on Stuntman. The AI doesn't work properly in PCSX2, it fails to do turns and you're the one following it.

for me it's mostly the user friendliness of it
they should really get rid of the current UI they have its shit you have to remove every single game if you played through one you cant have custom configs per-game basis easily you have go to to the wiki to see whats broken and whats not and what settings to use
i wish they just got people to contribute to the wiki and pulled the best settings automatically from there
