Switch can't handle physics engines.

>can't ride the spring horse

Fuck you nintendo.

I hope they add them in a future update, at least the goal from the nook miles items could be used for something.

>hmm there's two animal crossing threads up
>should i post in one of them or make a new one??

fuck off

You fuck off, you don't need 20 fucking threads open at once for separate Animal Crossing issues.

This isn't an Animal Crossing thread, it's for posting features in games that never returned

Stop making dumbass threads

This isn't an animal crossing thread.

CTB didn't even make it back in the sequel which is a damn shame. Better than ATB by a wide margin.
it's a shame X is so linear because the combat was great

where did all the soul go?

I don't like one thing about the combat in X. Usually you would get into specific random encounters, for example three types in an area with three combinations of enemies, always the same.
And the fact that you had to attack this flying enemy with Wakka, because others would miss, that one with Auron, because it has thick armour and the other one with Lulu, because it has high def but low magic def.
Those two things together made most normal encounters the same with no freedom to choose your own tactics.

lost the moment they decided on rolling log world

Why did they remove good gameplay from newer titles?

Unironically, I miss trophies.
A bunch of pngs aren't as fun to collect.

The loss of air momentum alone is worth mourning over. It's a fucking platformer-fighter game, it's entirely about moving and hitting people. Why make the movement part so fucking unfun and sluggish? You don't need to have wavedashing or l-cancelling or zipzapzoodling, just make handling the characters feel good.

In the All-Stars version of Super Mario Bros, whenever you hit a brick block you end up sliding up past it, and Mario slams onto the block right next to it by his pinky and he loses all momentum. It's so fucking awful to play, normally (ie in every other fucking Mario game) he bounces off and you keep all your speed. That's what new Smash is like. You lose all your speed the moment anything happens. Awful.

Isn't this the game where the only viable character is Fox? I guess it's a good fighting game, but not a good party game.

too nook has your balls now

>DS2 has a fun and versatile dual wield system, as well as not arbitrarily gimping weapons put in your off-hand by giving you access to their standard moveset no matter what hand they are in
>game gets meme'd into people thinking it is the evil hell game and from soft got scared and refused to repeat the good things it did for the series

Hey, there are like 3 viable characters, not just the one.

half the roster is tournament viable

you know its a shame that das2 had some good ideas but they were stuck in das2

Is there a tier list?

The latest tierlist is kinda outdated (2015), with todays meta the top 3 are Fox, Marth and Jigglypuff in no particular order.

The entire top row is widely considered viable, and the characters in E are also meta relevant.

I always thought that Falco was a slightly different version of Fox. Why isn't he in the top 3?

daaaamn...... are esls really like this?

Why doesn't the mainline game that came after have any of this fun shit the fucking mobile game does?

Clones in Melee are veeery different compared to how clones are in Tr4sh/Ultimate.

Falco and Fox especially, they play completly different. Falco is slow on the ground but has amazing jump heights wich comliments is unique down air and down special perfectly.

Just watch some Melee dude

they should add a dozen new characters saying GC tier mean things, that's all I ask

Everything looks much more fluid and organic than Ultimate. I think I can get behind this, but I've also heard good things from Project M and Legacy XP, of which the latter tried to make every character overpowered. How does either one of these compare to Melee?

>The entire top row is widely considered viable
no one has ever won shit with dr mario or luigi
