You know, it's a manga but Blade of the Immortal was a revenge plot where the main character wanted to avenge their parents and the other guy who did it is portrayed in a sympathetic angle, but instead of the MC being "murder death kill die revenge", she's constantly confused and acts like an actual human.
Sick of shitty revenge plots where all the character motivations and sympathy are driven by the fact that someone they liked was killed.
