Anyone who can't figure out PCSX2 is an idiot

I'm playing Gauntlet Dark Legacy over Parsec at 4k with 16x filtering and it's great.

Pretty much

my PC a shit

I've been thinking about playing Silent Hill 2 on this. Is there a widescreen mode/hack?

How shit? Just do 720p and 2x, which is still better looking than the original PS2 graphics and don't use version 1.4.0

Not sure about previous versions, but pretty much every game I've played in 1.5.0 has been widescreen

bump

Its broken

call me when it can run jak and daxter on directx

more than 15 years and still garbage emulator

Abysmal input lag

>on directx
amd I take it

>widescreen hacks
gross

shut the fuck up

Finished AC5 and Zero recently.
Dabbing on Belkans and Yukes on HD silky smooth 60fps is awesome. AC4 still looks like potato but its okay, I skipped it because its the shittiest of the PS2 trilogy

>How shit?
RX 560 / X4 870K shit, only game that ran smoothly was Ico

But what resolution and stuff are you playing them at?

last i tested was Ratchet & Clank, stuttered at stock settings

if you have a toasted downclock the EE slider in speedhacks for that game and make sure MTVU is enabled

Download this

Download The Warriors

Turn on MTVU

Play it at 720p with 4x filtering

I can only get 45-50 fps in my games. I tried the speedhacks but it doesn't really help much.

wtf are you guys doing? i'm using a toaster and 9/10 games run smooth, with that 1 exception being an occasional 60 fps to 58 fps

net's pretty slow right now, will try R&C again

Don't use 1.4.0

I'm using 1.5.0 is that better?

post screenshot of plugin settings

See: On top of shilling one of my favorite PS2 games, it's a great benchmark game. I played it at 5k (!!!) at 16x filtering over Parsec and the game has an in game widescreen option and it looks amazing.

Yakuza Fury is 99 MB and doesn't require any special options. I pushed it to 4k at 16x. If you can't run it at 60fps consistently at 720p then there's something wrong with your setup

not quite 60, but at least the audio doesn't make me wanna rip out my ears anymore. thanks for the assist. might actually be able to play Sly 2 again.

something wrong?

>Audio

Changing it to async can fix a lot of problems with crunchy audio. Depends on the game. The Warriors works great with timestretch for example.
