My company recently closed down and I was planning on playing the first game in anticipation for the sequel because of how hyped a friend of mine was for it and how good he said the story was for the first game. .
Now I don't even wanna bother, knowing how fucked things are in part 2.
It's not even that important characters die but worse is the way they do it with a literally who grug smash tranny lmao
I haven't gotten a chance to talk with my friend yet I hope he isn't too depressed.

I really liked part 1, but part 2 looks like unplayable shit, genuinely makes me sad that they ruined a good series with feminist garbage.

See, I like the IDEA for the story, but it just doesn't feel like ND did it right. I don't mind if there was a character that needed to kill Joel or floor Ellie out of revenge or whatever, but Abby feels weirdly introduced.

Played through the game a few times, and will eventually try to platinum it, but more of a fan of the MP.

Mostly, I am disappointed with the second part of the game. Having Joel die in the sequel sucks, but creates a great narrative for Ellie to go on. Switching over to Abby, and killing Ellie is retarded. Straight off the bat, people aren’t going to like her for killing Joel, killing Ellie isn’t going to make her more likable.

Also, it’s weird to me that the whole plot of this game is based on something the player themselves did in the first game. Joel shooting the Doctor didn’t happen in a cutscene, the player had to shoot a Doctor in order to activate the cutscene. Meaning some players would have probably just shot the doctors in a non lethal area, even if that technically killed the enemy.

I’m not really upset it was spoiled, though I’ve only read the plot, and haven’t watched any of the leaked cutscenes. There’s more to the story, than a summary, and my personal gameplay also.

I actually like the idea if Ellie does kill her. If you want to show how bad revenge is, just have Ellie's friends all die in her pursuit of revenge for Joel.
