The Last Of Us 2 is a disaster but at least Breath Of The Wild 2 will be bett-
>Hyrule map
so? as long as they change everything else, who fucking cares?
But that’s literally a good thing. BOTW Hyrule is peak comfy. And this way they can focus on populating it with content better than shrines and lame minibosses.
> Implying the first BOTW wasn't a disaster
At least TLOU2 has comedic value and a bold vision, no matter how retarded that vision is. BOTW is a milquetoast cookie cutter Ubisoft-style open world game without an once of creativity or originality
>Implying Breath of the Wild was ever good
Seethe.
The Hyrule map has already been explored, there's no surprise left
>buzzwords, the post
Dilate, Tendie
I had to use generic buzzwords to describe such a generic game.
Ho
So it will be a direct sequel/prequel?
>Who cares everything will be the same as long as everything is different who fucking cares?
Coping nintentards.
#THANK YOU NINTENDO
you make it sound like they're going to keep the same shrines with the same puzzles. You can't actually believe this can you?
I'm getting really annoyed at how low IQ Yas Forums is.
I'll allow if the whole point of the game is switched from exploration to something else (combat, dungeons, etc.)
If they just slap a new story onto the same map with the same sparse selection of enemies and tiny shrines I'm gonna scream. I'm gonna go straight to Japan, stand in the middle of that busy crossing in Shibuya, and just shriek.
>NOOOOO YOU CANT CALL ME A MANCHILD EVEN THOUGH I PLAY NOTHING BUT CHILDRENS GAMES!!!
>MODS HE MADE FUN OF MY BING BONG WAHOOS!
>June 13th 2019
Boy, snoys getting pretty desperate
This is quite literally the epitome of fake news, dipshit.
The exact quote Aonuma said was that BOTW2 was using the "same world" as BOTW, IE, the same universe and story, just like Majora's Mask uses the same world as Ocarina of Time.
Now, delete your post and think about your misdeeds.
er.
Except now you want to explore it all over again to see all the changes. It's not rocket science.
I don’t get how they could re-use the map. I get that it would greatly save development time and cost but I don’t get how they’ll have the same map. It’s is a direct sequel does that mean all the shrines and towers are there? All the same towns and shops and stables?
The only ways I can see this working is if it takes place 10k years in the past and the world is greatly remixed. Or it takes place in a dark world/lorule.
It's not a buzzword if it's true.
>June 2019
Calm down, snoyim. I'm sure you'll get a not-shit game this year. Maybe
>(Bad thing)
>"And that's a good thing!"
at least it isn't pozzed
Game comes out
>" I can't believe they kept the same shrines with the same puzzles"
Dope. I'm currently playing through BotW right now and it's fucking fantastic. It's my first Zelda game and I am 100% fine with going back to the same map. In fact, I kinda prefer that.
>hey guys, we made a romhack of botw
>$60 please
Will anyone be stupid enough to pay it?
what if have to do mentioning tlou in a zelda thread? op is a faggot
Do you have any exclusives that aren't children's games? I bet you think your faggot ring toy will make you stop being a fat slob, too
>my first zelda game is the open world one
Oh user...
Rehash of the Wild
Adding density to the already huge scale will make it the best game world ever put in a vidya. We need sprawling networks of caves and more indoor structures.
I'm talking about the environment
The first time you stumbled across the ruined Hyrule castle town can't be replicated, it already happened >to see all the changes.
Link and Zelda look the same age, there hasn't been enough time passed for the environment to drastically change
Your point?
>using the same map at the previous game is ba-
Already got Persona 5 Royal
>hey guys, we made a romhack of oot
>$60 please
yeah they already did
maybe they'll actually put something in it this time
ok boomer
There's nothing wrong with either of these images.
You are 10 months late, dummy
They reused assets but at least the world was different.
You do realize Kanto literally shrank but Gen 2 Pokémon is (incorrectly) widely considered to be the peak of the series, right (and the remake definitely is)?
A lot of people don't give a shit about reusing the same map as long as it has more to do because why the fuck would you?
Minecraft world generation is pretty commonly repeated too. Guess what game is coming up on 200 million sales all by itself?
>June 13, 2019
gr8 b8 OP
Okay so this seems to be a misinterpretation of what was said last year at E3. There has been no indication that they’re re-using the map
cope
>You do realize Kanto literally shrank
Yeah and GS also had an entire other region you disingenuous faggot
cope
>map looks completely different but is the same layout
Sounds based
>june 13 2019
you had to scurry back in time quite a bit to find something negative huh
Didn't everyone already know this?
Has there been any new information on the topic?
No?
Then this is the most recent info, keep coping
>ruined hyrule castle town
Yuh..now imagine it being half built up with shops houses and people in it.
Wow new shit to explore, see, and interact with.
Imagine some of the old trading posts built back up with hoiuses and people there.
Holy fuck new content
Imagine faron woods razed/burned due to ganondorf coming back. Or geudo desert having ruins uncovered or any number of fucking shit.
Plus the entire underground.
Honestly, are you people just shit posting as retards or are you seriously under 80 IQ?
FFS we saw hyrule castle flown to the sky, shit will be different.
>being this retarded
Maybe that was his point? How are you all not being disingenuous by ignoring the entire sprawling underground? The idea various places will be either rebuilt or settled?
If BotW2 is even 2 years later imagine how much change can occur to terry town ffs.
They hated user because he spoke the truth. The only thing it had going for it was the amount of polish which was just achieved with manhours. There's a handful of stuff you see in the first few hours then everything is forgettable and recycled to death. I only got up to the second shrine the second time I decided to give it another try, but it just fails to hold my attention. I mean, it is a shallow children's game, but legitimate gaming media with an adult audience keep talking about it like it's some masterpiece. Baffles the mind. Not a bad game, but painfully average.
>b-but nintendo!!
snoys on suicide watch
