There's not enough cool females on the roster, and definitely not enough cute females either. Just like there's not enough quadrupeds, not enough robots, not enough badass males. The roster is oversaturated with characters that are pretty generic and don't stand out much.

I do, I like character / design diversity, Max Brass isn't the worst pick but doesn't stand out much. Only reason I want Mechanica is to have a character similar to Tron Bonne which would be a breath of fresh air. Min Min and her weapons look more interesting visually and more cool females is always good.

Eh you're kind of projecting there. Only reason I'd rather have Min Min or Mechanica is simply for more design variety, I'm not in that "coomer" bunch. Same reason I'd like to see Ray, Warrior Mech Gauss, Pyramid Head, Nightmare, Earthworm Jim or a Touhou character. I really like when character designs are varied.

Why would nintendo say that? The series is literally one game, they'd obviously just say 'a character from ARMS'.
It's going to be Max Brass, Dr. Coyle, Springman upgraded with Springatron AT, or the face of ARMS2. With Brass or Springman as most likely.

But it's the truth. I'm using cute as a mere adjective. Just like there's not enough scary characters, or mysterious ones. Just a lot of generic blank slates.
